Tummy and Tortie Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone! We have a tortie and a tummy for you today, but first a medical update. I took Spooky and Millie to the vet yesterday. I held off as long as I could because neither travels well. Surprisingly, for the first time ever, Spooky didn’t poop in the carrier. Unfortunately, Millie did.

They both needed bloodwork for their hyperthyroid. And Spooky also needed his blood pressure taken to make sure he is on the correct dose of medicine. The tech told me it was 160 and the vet will call today after the thyroid tests come back.

Now for the tortie:009and the tummy:

010Well, a little tummy and a little toesies too.

Don’t forget to comment to enter the eyeball themed giveaway ( Phoebe will announce the winner on Thursday). 037

  1. We are sorry you had to make the Trip to the vet….no kitty ever likes that.. I sure don’t. We will Hope thing get better for both soon.

  2. Is 160 for blood pressure good? I think it is, but I can’t exactly recall from Jewel’s days, either.

I hope the thyroid levels come back in the good range!

  3. Here’s hoping the thyroid tests come back in the ‘okay’ range! Neither Chuck nor Angel travel to the vet well, but now that Chuck has had to go so many more times, he’s really becoming a handful. I’ve seen an ad for a Cat Bag, and I wonder if they work as well as advertised.

    1. I would try the cat bag if it is washable – LOL. Millie and Spooky are set for 6 months 🙂

  4. Mee-you Spooky mee hopes thee BP gets under control soon….an well dun not poopin inn carrier……

    1. They are set for 6 months 🙂 One time Millie and Spooky both pooped in the car when it was very cold out so I couldn’t keep the window open- it was awful.

  5. It seems we are always going to the vet for something or other. Why are those periodic exams all bunched together? Then the followups–it never ends. One of those exam rooms should have our names on it as we paid for it! Hope the results are satisfactory.

    1. I leave a credit card on file 🙂 Yes, they are set for 6 months 🙂 Thank you.

    1. Results were good- thank you. I am glad you got here to enter the contest, all you have to do is comment for a chance to win 🙂 Good luck! I am glad you still like your drumstick and mat.

  7. None of my 3 feline furbabies travel well. Evan has a nervous bladder as well as nervous bowels, Thimble sticks her cute little face in the corner of the carrier and wails mournfully, and Eddy tries to eat her way out of the carrier. That being said, I’m glad you two made it there and back again in one piece, Spooky and Millie!

And thanks for sharing some adorable tortie and tummy (and toesies!) with us today! Purrs!

    1. Yikes a nervous bladder and bowels- the perfect storm. M 2 are set for 6 months now 🙂 Joanie and Penny are glad you liked their photos.
