I'm a happily married 44 year old woman. My hubby ( David) and I have been married for 21 years (October 24, 1992). We started out with one cat and now have 15. 15 is my magic number ( David may like a slightly smaller one), but when any pass away, I don't replace the one that is lost, but I do rescue another.
When we got married we were like most people and wanted a family. At some point we both decided that we love our fur family. Some people are made to be parents of 2-legged children and we are made to be parents of those with 4 legs ( although we did have one with 3 legs once-RIP Brina).
It has taken me years to realize that this is my calling. I want to help all cats any way I can. If I can write about something that happened to one of my cats and help another in the process then I will be happy.
Our sweet boy left us very early this morning. We were both with him. Thank you Ann of Zoolatry
Thank you Pam of Two Spoiled Cats
Thank you Pipo’s Mom
I always say the more nicknames a cat has, the more loved he is. Millie was very loved, we called him Milton Bradley the third, Miltoni, Millie Macaroni, Miller, Mr. Magoo, The MIllyard Man, Ole Blue Eye and so many more names.
He loved his mousie
and his Dad’s lap
and his candy cane.
He loved to be stretched too .
And a good nap in his Dad’s chair.
A little tv too.
He was so unique with his 15 inch tail, one blue eye and one green eye.I will miss the pitter patter of Millie feet running around the house. And singing him his bedtime song.
We have lost 5 cats in a one year period. I sure hope God gives us a break now.
Thank you all for the purrs and prayers. You are all a blessing.
I will be back for the Fill-Ins on Friday, you can get them on Thursday from my co-host, Lorianne.
Joanie had some help with her selfie, The Great One took her photo. Pretty good for a 4 yr. old. I will admit that the kid is better with scissors than I am. I blame everything on my being a lefty.
This is most likely Millie’s last selfie unless a miracle occurs. This was taken a few days ago, he is much weaker now. At this angle, you can’t see all his tumors along his back and on his poor little head.
Hi everyone! Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. Be sure to add your link so everyone can visit you. Or you can answer in the comment section. Thanks to all who participate.

It is hard to find _________________these days.
I could not sew without pre-threaded bobbins. They are the best invention. Ever since I took home ec in high school, I had trouble threading a bobbin with the sewing machine. So much easier to buy a package of them.
A simple pleasure I enjoy is napping with kitties.
If I could change one thing about myself, it would be my weight. I’d like to lose a lot of it.
It is hard to find people with manners these days. I get so annoyed when someone can’t bother to say thank you when I hold the door for them.
We are also joining Create with Joy’s Friendship Friday and Comedy Plus’ Feline Friday.
Herr is a flashback of Angels Phoebe and Angel Prancie having a boxing match, Angel Stinky is looking on. They used to do this when hungry to get us to give them a snack.
I am having some computer troubles and can’t copy and past right now so please use the link at my co-host’s blog to add yours.
Hi everyone! I have a review today, don’t worry, it is short.
*Disclaimer- I received 2 EZCatPads in exchange for a fair review. All opinions are my own.
We got through a lot of pads like this because our older cats tend to pee over the edge of the box. I put the pads on the side to catch everything.
Most of the pads I have tried tend to leak through, but these are very thick and did not. My only complaint is the size is very small.
You know Joanie’s pet, Gremmie is small so you can get an idea of how small they are. They are supposed to be used in litter boxes and can hold 500 ml of liquid. They offer free shipping and the more you buy, the better the savings. For more information, click here
Hi everyone. Thank you all for the kind words, prayers and purrs you left for us for Prancie. I knew when I left the house Wednesday morning to go to jury duty that it was the day Prancie would leave us. I was scraping the ice off my car windows and heard the Phoebe bird. I don’t usually hear it this time of year. I knew that meant Phoebe had come for her friend.
The next day, I was driving over to visit The Great One and Prancie’s song was on the radio. I know that was a sign too. Prancie’s song is a disco song from the 1970’s and is rarely on the radio. I have chosen that for my Mewsic this week. I used to change the words and sing to her ” Do a little dance……Prancie Pants”. Up until a few years ago, she did prance around like she was dancing.
Prancie left us at 1:30 PM today. I was stuck at jury duty and didn’t get home until 12:30, but she waited for me. David kept telling her I would be home soon. I am thankful for the 15 wonderful years she was with us. She was the sweetest girl and so full of personality.
She had been declining since last week and we wondered if she would make it to her Dad’s birthday which she did. Our world will never be the same without her, she was such a big part of our lives.
We were so blessed to have one last Christmas with her.
Rest in Peace sweet girl until we are together again.
Thank you to Pam and Ingrid for the beautiful badges.
I won’t be blogging for a while. Thank you for understanding.
