Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! I have been very busy lately, but I managed to keep track of all the gossip for you. Mom and Dad have been playing a lot of cribbage and I have a very special job. I am in charge of holding the jokers so they don’t mess up the game. Trouble is not allowed in the room when they play because she steals the pegs and one time she bit one in half.

I miss Elvira. And now that she is gone, the boys are back.  They were at summer camp (the spare bedroom) so they wouldn’t bother her. I am not sure what is worse, the actual boys or listening to mom sing, The Boys are Back in Town. You know the song, right?

Mom needs to do some cleaning. I was going to take a nap on top of the fridge the other day, but it was too dusty. I left her a little hint when I jumped down.

Dad saw some kitty digging through Mom’s purse. Oh yeah, that was me. I was looking for her cell phone so I could watch some youtube videos for cats. I am really into the rabbit one lately.

Well, that is all I have for this week. I haven’t had to hide lately. The kids have been too busy with school to come over. The Great One is playing softball and Typhoid Mary is taking tennis lessons so Mom gets to see them at those events.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.  We are praying for Sandee’s husband Zane who had a procedure yesterday.

  1. Thanks for all the revealing info, Rosie! You look mighty pretty this evening. I didn’t know Trouble could be, uh, so much trouble during a game! And those boys, oh my! Even our Boss cat is curious and has jumped up to read about this with me! Sending purrs for Sandee and Zane. XO

    1. You’re welcome. Thank you. Trouble is mostly good just a bit naughty. I bet Boss cat will enjoy the bunny. XO

  2. That rabbit ‘game’ looks like fun! I wish Pipo & Minko could have had fun with that, too….sigh…Having said that, Benji stirred when he heard that video playing, LOL!

Trouble is troublesome during cribbage games, eh? That is funny, but annoying too.
And you were rummaging n the purse, Tee-hee…and left dusty paws…yup, that would happen here too, petcretary is a lousy housekeeper, LOL!

  3. Rosie, you make our DAY! Hope you found the cellphone but guess you did because I loved that rabbit thingy…I had a little visit with you but you probably didn’t notice, no wonder….but I’ll stop by every now and then. Don’t worry, you don’t have to make lunch or anything..just want to see what you kitties are doing…and by the way, Elvira is fine.

    1. Thank you. I got to watch it on the big tv. 🙂 Please let Elvira and the rest of our angels know we miss them and love them. XO

  4. Rosie you have had a break from the girls and I’m sure you appreciate that! I’m guessing hearing your Mom sing “The Boys Are Back In Town” makes you wish you had some ear muffs to wear. Maybe she can crochet some for you!!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. As usual Rosie your house is very busy. It’s good of you to help Mom and Dad play a game but then you deserve the cell phone so you can play a game.

  6. Rosie, thank you for the scoop. Trouble needs to mind her manners and leave the pegs alone, and meow to your mom she is not the only one that needs to dust the top of the refrigerator. Sandee and Zane are in my prayers and I hope all goes well.

  7. Rosie, you sure had a lot pf gossip this time. Wow. Had to laugh that Trouble has just the right name. She is a busy lizzy! But thank goodness the Jokers are safe! I can’t even HOPE to be on the fridge! She has heaven knows what up there!!! I’d be lost forever!

  8. Now that song is stuck in my head. You made me chuckle.

I love your pose, Rosie. You’re most beautiful.

Thank you for the shout out. I hope Zane can come home today.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to Ellen. ♥

  9. Angel Madi always helped her daddy when he wrote checks. She was sure the stamps, pen and mini calculated were in his way so she ‘relocated them to the floor’!

    WELL DONE!

  14. Nice job, Rosie. We don’t think our Mom knows how to play cribbage, but we do know she plays way too many word games on her phone or iPad. That rabbit game looks like fun, do you ever catch the bunny? We keep trying to catch one outside, but they are very fast.

    Woos – Misty and Timber

  17. Charlee: “Those are the cutest little paw prints on the fridge! I think your mom should just put one of those magnetic frames around them and call it good!”
