Hi everyone. Before I get started, I want to give my condolences to Brian and his family for the loss of their beautiful Sascha.
Grammie asked me to thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes. I love Grammie very much too like Phoebe did, but Grammie thinks I am a bully.
When she was here on Tuesday, she sat on Dad’s chair so I sat on his side table to visit with her. She got up and moved and told my folks that I bullied her out of his chair. Sure, I took the chair once she got up, but I wasn’t trying to make her move.
I want to thank The Feline Opines for including me in their Blogger Showcase this week. I am sad though because November 4th is the last one as they are ending it.
And the winner of my ghostly giveaway is one of our readers named Donna-congratulations!
And now for the last 4 tocks. Kuddos to Four-Legged Furballs’ Mom for knowing the tock on Friday was Tallulah.
Hi everyone! I am joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that all of you have been so accepting of me. I know I will never be as fun as Phoebe, but I will try my best.
And to thank you all , I am having a giveaway. Just comment on today’s post for a chance to win. I will announce the winner on Sunday so you have until Saturday night 9pm (EST) to enter. The prize is this ghost print catnip mat and 2 crocheted catnip ghosts.
Brody wants me to tell you how he caught two bats and a rat
Shhh! Please don’t tell him they are Halloween decorations. Mom wasn’t too happy he de-tailed the rat.
Hi everyone! We are reviewing a great product made for Chewy today.* We have a post about a post.
*Disclaimer: As Chewy Influencers, we received the Frisco 33.5 inch Scratching Tower free in exchange for a fair review. All opinions are our own.
It came in 4 pieces with lots of bolts and the funny little L shaped wrench. It was easy to assemble and I did it all by myself ( I got sick of waiting for the hubby to do it). It weighs a lot and is very sturdy.
Prancie and Sammy helped me, so I guess I can’t take all the credit for assembling it.
Millie decided it would make a great pedestal.
Joanie turned on her lasers and started scratching.
Almost all the cats have been using it, but my camera is slow to turn on and by the time I get it on, they have done their scratching. It is definitely a hit and I love that it is so sturdy and well-made.
If you are interested in the Frisco 33.5 inch Scratching Pole.Tower , it is on sale this month for $33.99. It comes in brown or cream. And don’t forget that Chewy has free 1-2 day shipping on all orders over $49.
Hi everyone! We are joining three hops today, but first I would like to ask for purrs and prayers for our friend Astrid of Four-Legged Furballs. She had surgery on what was thought to be a benign tumor, but now needs more surgery because it is a malignancy. Her mom is very worried so please pray for her too.
First off is Joanie’s review:
I haz no time for review this week. Halloween only 2 weeks away and I needz costume.
Sammy and I thank Grammie for late birthday gifts.
The book I am going to review ties in with my “Spark” for this week.
Einstein and the Rabbi: Searching for the Soul by Naomi Levy is an amazing book. The author was inspired by a letter that Einstein wrote to a man who had lost his son.She searches for the man and many others whose lives he had touched. Her search is only part of the book though, she also offers ways we can connect with our soul. One way is through meditation, she recommends just meditating on the word “husa”. I was not familiar with the term before reading this book. It means an artists love for his ( or her) creation even if it is flawed. Much like we are all flawed, but God still loves us. By meditating on this we will become more forgiving and soften our judgement of others and ourselves.
Hi everyone! This being the Queen stuff is exhausting.
Phoebe told me that you like stories of dumb things mom does. Well, the other day, she sprayed her perfume on the bed to make it smell pretty. Then when Dad came in for bed, he said the bed smelled like mothballs and took the top blanket off the bed. Mom made him sniff her perfume bottle and asked if that was the smell and he said it was. I guess Dad doesn’t like her perfume. Too bad, it is the only one that doesn’t give her a headache.
She also made a grilled cheese and forgot to put the cheese inside. Well, enough about us, here are 4 more tocks. I will show you the last 4 next week. And on Thursday, I will have my very first giveaway for Halloween.
My art today is a page that I colored in the coloring book I won from Sweet Purrfections,Cooking with Cats by Jess Erskine.
I tried to color the kitty to look like Joanie, but she doesn’t think it looks like her. I like that these pictures are easier to color than most adult coloring books.
I also want to thank Basil and family for dedicating this week’s mandala to Phoebe and some other angels that left for the bridge at the same time she did.
Here are my thankfuls-

Got my hubby to go to a book sale with me on Tuesday.
Going to same book sale today for half price day ( books will be 50cents-$1, even less for kid ones).
Went out to dinner with hubby Monday night.
My mom stayed with the cats so we could relax. Otherwise, I would have been stressed thinking if someone broke in , the cats could get out and get run over or eaten by the bobcat my hubby saw this week.
I found the perfect gift for a friend at TJ Maxx.
Every week when I see my great niece, her language skills have improved. She will be 2 in 2 weeks and can count, knows her colors and says so many things.
Hubby and I got our flu shots, I am thankful insurance covers them.
Fun lunch “party” with my mom and great-niece, it is a party every time we are together.
Joanie sleeps on my side every night, she just started doing it after Phoebe passed away. I think she senses my sadness.
Hi everyone! Time for The Friendly Fill-Ins. Make sure you add your link at McGuffy’s Reader, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate.

2. Nic Cage’s choice of movies to act in disappoints me. I was so excited to have a new DVD from the library last Saturday called Arsenal, but we only watched 10 minutes of it because it was so violent ( and I like mob movies so I am not squeamish).
3.Rescuing cats is my calling in life.
