Awww…Monday

Hi everyone. We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and today is M day for The A-Z Blogging Challenge.

Rusty is wondering where all the stuff on the top of the cabinet disappeared to. Well Rusty, you knocked most of it off, so I decided to clear it off completely before you break anything else.

M is for mistletoe.

We have a fake one because real ones are poisonous to cats. Ours is up year-round because every night my hubby carries Rosie to bed, and he stops under it to give her a kiss. I am lucky if I get a kiss under it once during the Christmas season. 🙂

M is also for music. Here are some of my favorite Christmas cd’s.

  1. Our first Meezer was like Rusty….everything had to go DOWN!
He even managed to knock a boom box off the top shelf of a bookcase…naughty!!

Maybe you need to catch your hubby and take him to the mistletoe, hint, hint…LOL!!

    1. Be sure to read Rosie’s post tomorrow to see what h found to knock over. Sometimes I go over and try to get in on their fun. XO

  2. Aww…I hope you are pulling our leg about that mistletoe thingy. If not, we want to speak to your hubby NOW!!!

  3. I have been lucky with all of our cats and none have really knocked things down.

  4. Ah, Christmas music, some of the most beautiful songs and music I’ve ever heard. And I actually miss them during the summer. Rosie’s a very lucky girl and she deserves it but so does Mom!

  5. A long time ago, I had a cat that knocked off everything and anything, especially potted plants. Then she would come over to me and give me a hug. How could I get mad at her? I love Christmas music. Happy Monday!

  6. Sweet photo of you Rusty ~ hugs ~

  7. Oona: “Rusty, you made a clean sweep of the top of the cabinet! Oona is very impressed!”
Charlee: “Our Dada doesn’t collect Christmas CDs but he says he knows who that is on the cover of the one on the right, because he has all of her other albums ― he started buying them way back when he was in college, so they were probably recorded on wax cylinders then.”
    Chaplin: “Who is she?”
Charlee: “I don’t know, he didn’t tell me.”

  8. Good for you for saving your treasures being put away so that Rusty doesn’t knock them off.I know he doesn’t mean harm but then that’s what kitty’s are known for destroying your pretty things.:) You may have to usher your husband beneath the mistletoe every night until he gets the idea. lol M is for music and Christmas music is some of my favorite music ever! Have a marvelous awwwesome Monday, Ellen!

  9. The best part of this post is the mistletoe. I laughed out loud that Rosie gets a kiss every night and you are lucky to get one at Christmas. I needed that laugh this morning.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to you. xo ♥

  10. Love the mistletoe kiss for Rosie from her Dad♥ Mistletoe and Music are festive for Christmas.
Is Rusty flirting with being a hooligan again?! He can’t help himself. Cats gotta be busy!

  11. we don’t like it much when things change around here either, Rusty. NO need to reconfigure our living space.

What a sweet exchange between your hubby and Rosie.

  12. Rusty, you’ll have to do lots more hunting now. Awww, that’s very sweet Rosie!

  13. Rusty your fun is over lol. That is such a sweet tradition your husband has with Rosie.

  14. Rusty, looks as if your mom has spoiled your fun game. Lisbeth is our shelf and counter clearer. We think it is sweet that Dad David gives Rosie a kiss each night under the mistletoe. And we bet Mom Ellen gets her share. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
