Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! Did you miss me last week when it was Penny’s turn?

Excuse me for a second, something is pulling my tail.

I should have known it was Gremmie.

There, now he is contained. He fits in this old Furby car seat.

So Rusty and Rudy are still at summer camp (the spare bedroom). Now that there is nothing on top of the tall IKEA cabinet, Rusty decided to clear off the bureau in there. The only thing that was on it was a television. Lucky for him, it didn’t break.

I have been very friendly lately to Grammie and even to one of mom’s friends that was visiting. They didn’t even offer to let me play with their phones though, so I sprinkled some tail fur in their coffee. Grammie said I can play with hers when she gets a screen cover.

Last week my folks looked at the eclipse through dad’s old telescope that has a sun filter. I was listening through the window and I heard dad ask mom if she saw the sun spots. She said she didn’t know there were spots on the sun. She thought sun spots were like freckles you get from being in the sun.

Today is N day on The A-Z Blogging Challenge. As you know, mom’s theme is Christmas. N is for nutcrackers.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Well, I am off to find a good hiding spot because rumor has it the girls will be here on Thursday.

  1. Rosie and Gremmie are cute and playful today! Looks like the nutcrackers are well prepared for next Christmas! XO

  2. Love your nutcrackers, esp the drummers….I have over 300 of drummers, most are nutcrackers of all sizes, and a lot are little military figures, some are replicas of various regiments, both from America, and Europe. Some are tiles, and I am working on a needle point one, too. My 5X GreatGrandfather was a drummer in a Dutch army in the 1700’s sometime.

Wow Rusty knocked off a TV?? That tops the boom box that Groucho knocked down, LOL!!

Good thing you can keep Gremmie out of trouble in that car seat, tee-hee!

    1. WOW! Your collection is a lot bigger than mine. That is nice that there is a family connection back so far. The tv was a flat screen, 13 inch so light- I bet the boom box was more impressive. XO

  3. THAT GREMMIE IS A SERIOUS TAIL-PULLER! Watch out. And did that bad kitty actually MOVE a TV??? Better watch out for him, for sure! Love the nutcracker. Mama gets sunspots in front of her eyes outdoors somtimes, haha.

  4. Gremmie is being mischievous pulling your tail! The Nutcrackers are lovely.

  5. Your Mom sure has a nice collection of nutcrackers……My Mom puts the eight that she and my Dad have on our mantle at Christmas time. I hope the boys are enjoying their “vacation” in the spare bedroom!

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. That is very cool that you saw the eclipse through a telescope. I took Frankie out for a walk at the beginning of it. I thought by the time we returned it would be something to see but I completely forgot about it.

  7. Dear Rosie, it sounds like that boy Rusty needs to have some soft toys put on top of the furniture for him to knock off on purpose. But of course not your toys. Your mommy’s nutcrackers are beautiful.

  8. Gremmie pulled your tail! Rosie, I hope you let him know who’s boss. I love the nutcrackers and hope they are kept in a safe place.

  9. Aww Rosie ~ you are so adorable ~ sweet photos ~ hugs,

  12. You’re a cutie pie, Rosie. Yes you are.

Summer camp sounds fun. It’s good to knock over things too. Cringe worthy at times for us, but fun for you.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. xo ♥

  13. MOL MOL I am older than dirt…I have age spots. Rosie I’m very happy to read about your new social skills. Sending hugs Cecilia

  14. What in the world to do about Rusty! He’s a pawful.

Just as Gremmie needs to get used to you, you need to get used to the girls, you’re going to wish they were your friends once they get old enough to have phones to share with you.

I’m glad your parents got to see the eclipse.

That’s a very nice collection of nutcrackers your mom has.

Thanks for catching us up on the news, Rosie!

    1. If he was a kid mom would have him on ritalin. Good point- I better get friendly with the older one at least. XO

  15. I am glad that television didn’t break. Whew… Thanks for the update, Rosie, and beware mischievous Mogwai. lol Hugs to you all, my dear.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Oh no! I have to worry about a Mogwai and Gremmie! 🙂 XO

  16. Oh My, Rusty, you are going to find yourself in some trouble! And Gremmie, you too! That car seat works like a charm, Rosie… good thinking. You had some good things to gab about today! I have always loved photos of your Mom’s nutcrackers. I collected them for a while and then I don’t remember what happened to them… How does that happen?! Scritches to you, Meowing Crew!

  17. Boy I am amazed that Rusty knocked over a TV! What a mancat! His strength is phenomenal. Love the nutcrackers. Mom has never seen one and they are really very pretty!

  21. That’s a nice collection of nutcrackers. Sounds like Rusty keeps your Mom busy. Thanks for the update.

  22. I have a few special nutcrackers too. Gremmie in the car seat cracks me up.

  23. You let us smile about Gremmie, Rosie😺 That’s a lot of nutcrackers, we thought we had one too, but it is a smoking man from Germany…MOL…Extra Pawkisses🐾😽💞

  24. Charlee: “Gremmie was pulling on your tail? What a little prankster.”
Oona: “Oona would like to see someone try that on her!”
Chaplin: “Rusty pushed a television off the bureau? Wow, he must be really strong, like the Hulk!”

  25. Rusty sounds a lot like the toddlers who moved in with us. The humans are always trying to keep ahead of how high they can reach!
