Hi everyone, this has been a very sad week. Most of you probably know, but just in case you missed them. Romeo the Cat went to The Bridge

I got to see my Grammie on Friday and she is going to watch us on Monday too. I love her so very much. And my purrince send me a Christmas card with a poem in it, he is such a clever boy phoebewithcardand handsome too!

I was finally able to record Mom singing so you can understand why I need ear muffs. Warning- listen at your own risk, you may want to lower the volume.

  2. We are so sorry that we have lost three friends in the past few days. It is never a good time to lose the ones we love, but the holidays make it so much harder. We were sorry that we could only read Jinx and KaTwo’s letters this time. Phoebe, your mommy has a great voice.You should hear our mommy sing.   3. You mom’s singing isn’t that bad. You make it sound like she’s screeching or something awful. You all wrote great letters to Santa. That new tail wish might be difficult for Santa to pull off.

Millie we foresee lots of lap time with yours Daddy in the near future. Katwo your wish made us smile. Prancie, we also wish all the homeless animals/kitties had a home and were loved .Your letters made us smile; they are thoughtful and sweet just like all of you 🙂

  6. We’ve been offline a bit this week, so we didn’t know that so many of our feline friends had to go to their last travel. 🙁 Thank you for linking to their blogs!

    It’s funny, we’ve also a Part 2 post today! Though not letters to Santa. Mom promised us a wonderful Christmas. Last year we were homeless and freezing somewhere in a big forest, so this year is probably a gift in itsself.

  8. Thanks for the song from your Mom…….earmuffs are on the way (hahahahahaha). No seriously she sings just fine and I think it’s nice she sings to you all – my Mom is hopeless. I think your letters to Santa are VERY reasonable. He is magic you know so no reason you shouldn’t get what you asked for no matter what! We were very sad this week too at losing so many friends…..they will be having a big Christmas party at the Bridge – one day we’ll be doing the same but I’m not ready to do that quite yet!

  16. We loved your mom’s singing, and I think you secretly do too because you had a certain look in your eyes. M says to tell your mom she’ll give that “T” stuff a try and see if that helps. She has never had it before, but it’s worth a try anyway. Our hearts are broken over our pals that crossed the Rainbow bridge too. It was a sad weel, but seeing your post cheered us up.

  18. Moms, your singing was a riot! Paprika enjoyed it and immediately advanced fro my lap which seems to be her hang out to the computer screen to see what was up. She remained transfixed to the screen your entire song. Thanks for keeping her occupied LOL! No seriously thank you for all the kitties who said hello and we are also so sad for those lost to the community. Ellen, please sing some more because Paprika really needs online entertainment like yours!

  23. It was a sad week of loss and we almost had #4 with Merlin. With Merlin in sharp decline we’re unable to blog hop much these days but wish you peace, love and purrs for the holidays.

  25. Ha ha ha ha ha! You was purrin’ loud to drown her out, wasn’t you?? Tee-hee! Ackshully, she sounds about the same as my Human, but mine usually doesn’t sing to me (thank Cod!) YES, I still LOVE my ball—it is the most wonderful toy I have ever gotten! I don’t know what it is–the scent? the blue stringy bits, the texture? It is aphrodesiacal (that’s prolly not a word). I love love love it, even after all this time! Did your Mommy make it??? The Human wonders WHAT miraculous stuff might be inside? I am not ordinarily *that* excited by catnip and it doesn’t smell bad enough to be valerian. Anyway, I thank you every time it appears 😉

  28. I’m so sorry to hear that so many furry furriends left to the other side. We didn’t know Romeo and Georgie, these two beautyful souls, but we know the feeling. It makes us very sad too 🙁
