Happy Selfie Sunday everyone! I have lots to tell you, I really think I need to write more than twice a week- Phoooey! Yesterday was National Sunglasses Day: 025

I am a day late and a dollar short ( hint, hint Grammie) . I love my Grammie so very much even though she was here yesterday and didn’t give me treats or dollars.

I think my parents are getting crazier by the day. I know they are a little odd, but last night they were squirting each other with the squirt bottles. They each have a bottle of water to squirt us when we destroy walk gently on the rug or sharpen our claws on gently touch the furniture. Well, they were talking a little loud to each other and Mom threatened Dad then Dad squirted her and she squirted him back. I jumped between them to make them stop- I think that was pretty sweet of me to risk my furs getting all wet. Funny thing is they were laughing, I don’t laugh when I get wet- humans are strange.

My Sweet purrince is turning one year

as long as I’ve known him I’ve nothing to fear

If I had my way he’d live right near

That is the start of it, I am still working.

 

Lucy and Joanie were both on the bed so Mom put some books between them to make them bookends-they did not think it was funny. 018

  6. That is a beautiful poem you have started. Will be anxious to read it when you have fiinoshd it. Yes. Sadly our humans are very strange. Squirt bottles don’t sound like fun to me either. Why don’t humans wrestle like we do for fun or give chase.

  7. Humans actually LIKE getting wet – strange isn’t it???!!! Sounds like your Mom and Dad had fun squirting each other though……..the bookend photo op was a swell idea BUTTTT when the books flop over they hit us in our rear and THAT’s not fun!!!! Concats to the giveaway winner! I hope they like their toys as much as I like my new little fishies!

    1. That is great that we both have birthdays in July. Mom told Grammie she wants that mousie by tomorrow, but we won’t be mailing until Wednesday because there is one more thing we want to add to the package and we won’t be able to get it til Wednesday. Mom used to have an air horn from the dollar store to catch us off guard when we were scratching the furniture, but she didn’t like the sound so she got rid of it- MOL.
