Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Book Date’s It’s Monday What are YOU Reading?
Trouble is posing with the book I am currently reading. Laundry Love: Finding Joy in a Common Chore. by Patric Richardson is an interesting book. I have already learned some things I didn’t know, for example, if you put a ball of aluminum foil in the dryer with your clothes, they won’t get static cling. This book is filled with tips and tricks to make doing laundry easier and safer (many products have toxic chemicals).
Rosie doesn’t have enough dirt to dish out tomorrow so Penny may post.
And Wednesday we have some yummy treats to tell you about.
Mum thinks that book sounds good 😉
Gee, no dirt to dish,,,srsly!?
Purrs, Julie
She has some, but not enough for a full post. 🙂 XO
That’s an interesting tip
The book is full of great tips. XO
This is the 1st time we have been able to comment in days and I think it all worked because we did it from mom’s phone.
Sorry, WP is being difficult. XO
I wll TRY that!
Me too. 🙂 XO
Rosie doesn’t have enough dirt to dish out…because she just did the laundry!!
That is an Idea I should try! We rarely use fabric softener, but it doesn’t help all that much…and Its one less chemical to have to use.
MOL! Yes, less chemicals the better for us and the furkids. XO
What happens if ya put a ball of cat hair in instead?
Try it and let me know. 🙂
WOW – I didn’t know the aluminum foil trick – I’ve always used dryer sheets for static but I’ll give this a try! Sounds like an interesting book for sure.
Hugs, Pam
Much better than dryer sheets that have chemicals. XO
Thanks for the tip it’s worth a try heheh!
Have a foiltastic day 👍
Yes, it is. 🙂
That is an interesting tip that I never heard of. It’ll be a huge help in the winter.
I had not heard of it either. 🙂
For the past 2 weeks we’ve had amazingly low humidity. I have been out walking more than reading.
Hugs cecilia
It has been very humid here. XO
Going to the laundromat is great fun; it’s warm, smells nice, and there is the humming…like a cat purring…that can lull one into a good place!
And look, I can comment again, Ellen! Thanks, I did exactly as you suggested.
YAY! Glad it worked. 🙂
Good points, but I am glad we have a washer and dryer. 🙂
wow- that book looks interesting! Hugs to Trouble!
Thank you. 🙂 XO

Since laundry is something we all have to do (if we want to hang around people), we might as well find a way to enjoy it.
Good point. 🙂
We usually all like to help with the laundry!
How sweet. 🙂
Sounds like a good book. I didn’t know that trick.
Yes, it is. 🙂
Not enough dirt to dish? All I can say about laundry is that for just two people we sure generate a lot of it!
MOL! 🙂 XO
I’d worry that the metal would spark and cause a fire. That’s just me and my husband being paranoid, I’m sure. lol This seems like a good read, still. Best wishes, my dear.
Well now I am worried about that too. 🙂 XO
Sounds like a very interesting book! I’ll have to try that tip with the aluminum foil. xo
