Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.
1. I tend to scrimp on ___________________.
2. I tend to save on _________________________.
3. I’ve nearly perfected _________.
4. I need to find a better way to _________.
My answers:
1. I tend to scrimp on personal care and things for me.
2. I tend to save on buying some things in bulk like 48 pound bags of litter. They are hard to lift, but worth it.
3. I’ve nearly perfected my lasagna recipe.
4. I need to find a better way to clean windows. They always end up streaky.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from September 2021, my Angel Sammy was wishing our Jewish friends a Happy Rosh Hashanah.
And I wish all our Jewish friend a Happy Rosh Hashanah.
And before we go, we must never forget.
I took this photo in 2008.

Good fill ins and that’s and we love the picture of Angel Sammy. We want to wish our Jewish friends a Happy Rosh Hashanah too. That’s a meaningful picture that you took in remembrance of 9/11. XO
Thank you. I miss my boy. XO
I remember the 9/11 events as if it was yesterday. Such a horrible day. Lots of people think covid changed the world, but I think 9/11 did.
Sammy made a cute ‘Mewish’ kitty.
1. I tend to scrimp on Purses…one for winter and one for summer, LOL!
2. I tend to save on clothes by waiting till they come on sale.
3. I’ve nearly perfected nothing much, teehee!
4. I need to find a better way to get all the chores done .
I think both did. For a while after people were nicer, but then they go back to being humans. Thank you for these great answers. You have perfected making badges and dressing up your pups. XO
We will never forget get September the 11th will we.
No one will. XO
That’s a sweet pic of Angel Sammy, and I also wish our Jewish friends Happy Rosh Hashanah. I will never forget 9/11, such a sad day for our country.
Thank you. Yes, it was. XO
Great answers on the fill ins and love the picture of sweet Angel Sammy❤️ We never forget that day, it’s 25 years ago, but it feels like yesterday…That’s a beautiful picture, of a sad remembrance😿Double Pawkisses for a Happy Rosh Hashanah🐾😽💞
Thank you. 🙂 XO
We always like seeing Angel Sammy. That’s a great photo!
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Chaplin: “Wait, it’s possible to clean windows? Has anyone told our Dada this?”
Charlee: “Angel Sammy looked very handsome in his Rosh Hashanah gear, and the orange went very well with his furs of course!”
Lulu: “None of us were around for 9/11, of course, but our Mama and Dada were and they remember it very well. Dada says it’s hard to believe it was 25 years ago now.”
It is not possible with dogs. 🙂
Yes, it’s more expensive but the 25 lb litter bags are all I get these days.
Lugging bags up the stairs to Henryville is hard enough.
Am thinking I may need to get some weight training in.
25 years…
I am glad I don’t have to go up any stairs with the litter. I think I need to weight train too. XO
Adorable pic of Angel Sammy. Great fill ins.
I could never forget 9/11. I was still living in New York at the time. A sad day.
Thank you. That must have been very hard. XO
Good answers and a terrific flashback. We will always remember, always.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
I scrimp on things for me, too. It’s the nurturer in us, we give before we take.
Angel Sammy is so handsome. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
It’s a date, rather like Dec. 1941, that will “live in infamy!”
Yes, very true. XO
Hi Guys! I told Mom that I wanted to pawticipate in the Friendly Fill-ins and here we are! And I, Marvelous wil do 1, Kozmo, 2, Jo Jo 3 and Nutmeg 4!
1. I Marvelous tend to scrimp on cuddles. Mom always wants more than I want to give!
2. I Kozmo tend to try to save my thyroid pill in my cheek and spit it out after Mom puts me back down. I have about a 50% success rate for the first try….
3. I Jo Jo have nearly perfected jumping from the top of the cat tree to the dining table. I don’t make it sometimes and the table cloth ends on the floor…
4. I Nutmeg need to find a better way to get the cats treats. Mom catches me trying to eat them more times than I get to eat them!
Keep being AWESOME!
Marv, Kozmo, Jo Jo, and Nutmeg
Thank you all for these great answers. My Penelope could give you tips on spitting out the pill. 🙂 XO
Are you speaking of cleaning the outside of your windows? I use Windex (I buy at Lowe’s) in a special bottle that I can attach garden hose too. It has a setting for wetting windows with water, then a setting that dispenses the windex in a foamy fashion. Then you set back to wetting water…They are really clean.
Hugs Cecilia
Never ever forget 9/11…
Thanks for the tips. In and out streak. XO
lookin good shop vac 🧡🤍🧡🤍‼️ tell yur mom ta try water N dawn soap mixed up ina sprayz bottle….werkz grate ‼️🐾💚😸
Thank you. 🙂 I will try it. XO
1. I tend to scrimp on nothing. We love what we love and we don’t scrimp.
2. I tend to save on nothing. We do check for sales on things we eat/use, but if there isn’t a sale we buy them anyway.
3. I’ve nearly perfected being the laziest person on the planet.
4. I need to find a better way to housework. Our home isn’t dirty, but it could be less dusty.
I will never forget this horrific day.
Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-Ins.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to you. ♥
Thank you for these great answers. I don’t think you are lazy. XO

We will always remember.
Ellen, that is a great photo you captured!
My Fill-Ins~
1. I tend to scrimp on clothing. I hang on to my old clothes because I hate to try on new clothes.
2. I tend to save on… we don’t save on much. Things are expensive these days and at 75 I think we better enjoy all we can. You can’t take it with you.
3. I’ve nearly perfected biscuits.
4. I need to find a better way to ____ I could probably find a better way for everything I do but I am content with my ways 🙂 I need to stick to what I know because my brain has cobwebs.
Have a great Friday and weekend, Meowing Crew!
Thank you. 🙂 And thank you for these great answers. I bet your biscuits are as good as your noodles. XO

Thank you. 🙂
Sammy was such a doll. ~hugs~ Our litter from Sam’s Club comes in 52 pound bags. Ugh… But my husband can actually help lift them now (!) and it was a wonderful surprise the other day when he did more than I expected. Be well, my dear.
Wow! That is heavy. Glad your hubby can help now. My hubby brings them in, but I was alone at Walmart and had trouble lifting it over the cart. XO
