Lucy and I love to read so we are joining a hop called I found out about it from Socratesbookreviews.com, but it is hosted at: http://www.fredasvoice.com/p/buttons.html . You pick a line on page 56 in the book you are reading. I read 5 books at a time so here is one: Just Kids from the Bronx by Arlene Alda. It is a collection of oral histories of people who grew up in the Bronx from the 1930’s-80’s. Page 56 is by George Shapiro, “We worked in the Catskills on the weekends and on holidays, at Grossinger’s and a place called the Flager Hotel.”

Thank you for the prayers for Phoebe’s Dad, he is on an antibiotic and improving- he even did some gardening yesterday. See you tomorrow for lots more hopping.

  6. Penny pees in her box? Oh noes! We have a never-ending supply of empty boxes from the office, but the cats seem to like beat-up, chewed on, bowed out (and peed on!) boxes better than new.

    1. I throw the peed on ones out 🙂 So sometimes she has to wait for a new one. Her Grammie bought her a nice Staples one for Christmas 2013 and that one she hasn’t peed in 🙂

    1. I wonder which one of you has the pee issue? I hoppe your Mumsy does do the Friday 56, it is fun.Does she use Goodreads? That is a great place to keep track of books, enter book giveaways, etc.

  21. Happy Box Day. I don’t know any cats that don’t love boxes. In fact I have one in the middle of my living room right now and it has strategic peep holes cut out on all sides. My cats have been loving it all week.
