Hi everyone! We have lots of photos from Moo’s first stop to show you. First though, I want to tell you about a Go Fund Me my friend started for his friend whose cat, Buttons needs surgery on his leg or it will need to be amputated. If you donate $15 , I will send you some catnip toys ( US only, sorry). And if you donate $50, he will design a badge or photo for you. He designed my blog logo and our fill-in badges. In addition, I will also send you catnip toys. If you do donate, let me know in the comment section and I will contact you. Thank you!
And here are photos from Moo’s first stop at Cat Scout Charles’ home.

Hi everyone! Poor Penny doesn’t get to give her tip today, but we are having a giveaway.
First off, I wanted to show you a deal I found at Michael’s Craft store.
These were regularly $4.99, but were 40% off. There are 12 small felt hearts and 3 larger ones. They seem to be as well made as ones I have seen for cats. I am going to pull the small letters off the larger ones for safety though. I sprayed them with catnip spray and now I have 15 cat toys.
Joanie is here to display the items on our Valentine’s giveaway. A catnip mat, 3 nip knot toys and 3 of the felt hearts. We are also including an adorable little spoon that looks like a cat and hangs on the edge of your mug. To enter, just comment on this post before 9PM EST on Wednesday. Prancie will announce the winner on Thursday. It is open to everyone. Joanie is not included 🙂
Hi everyone! We are joining The Cat on my Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop. Brody is here with his selfie and a request. His girlfriend Leia’s brother needs some dental work, he has some resorption which is painful.
We have donated a little, but want to do more so Brody came up with an idea. For anyone that can donate at least $10, we will send you some crocheted catnip toys as a thank you. If you donate $20, we will send you a catnip mat and some crocheted toys.*I know it is a tough time right after the holidays so no pressure, but we just thought this would be a good way to help. If you do donate, just let us know in the comment section. And please spread the word. Here is the link to the donate page-click here
*I can only afford to send to US addresses or it would cost more than a $10 donation- I apologize to my foreign readers. If you did want to donate though, you could choose a friend in the US to get the toys. Thank you!
Hi everyone! Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins Week 51- next week will be a full year since we started them and we appreciate and thank all who participate. Remember to add your link at McGuffy’s Reader, you can also answer in the comment section.
1. A book I would like to see made into a movie is _________________________________.
2. If I could afford a billboard, it would say ___________________________________.
3. I have a hard time .
4. I really enjoy .
1. A book I would like to see made into a movie is An Interrupted Life: The Diaries 1941-1943
by Etty Hillesum.I reviewed this book back in September 2016.
If I had the money, I would buy the rights and get it made into a movie. I found it even more interesting than Anne Frank’s Diary because Etty was in her 20’s when this was written and was trying to find love as more of her rights were being taken away. It is so good that I haven’t finished it because I know there will be nothing else of hers to read.
2. I could afford a billboard, it would say SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS!
3. I have a hard time WITH ANY KIND OF CHANGE.
4. I really enjoy BEING HOME WITH MY CATS.
And for The A-Z Blogging Challenge,
we have an x-mas tree, I didn’t want to take the Christ out of Christmas, but I couldn’t think of any other X to crochet.
Hi everyone! Thank you to all who participated in the friendly fill-ins yesterday. You can link up until Wednesday. I apologize that my linky is not working, but McGuffy’s Reader is so you can add links through there. I don’t know why Blogger has no problem with the code and my WordPress hosted through GoDaddy does.
I have been attempting to make a button art cat , but I have a long way to go.
It is supposed to be a black cat, but I need to fill it in more. I love button art- has anyone out there made any?
I hope this qualifies for Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop.
This one was hanging in the vet’s office, one of the vet techs made it and it sold for over $200 ( not sure of the exact price). If you want to see her other work, click here.
We are also joining Rascal and Rocco’s Pet Parade.
And don’t forget to leave a comment to be entered into Phoebe’s giveaway- she will announce the winner tomorrow.
Happy Wednesday everyone! I have 2 ROARS today, but I am doing things a little differently. When I started blogging, I was hoping to make some money to donate to my weekly roars. That hasn’t happened yet so I usually just donate with a credit card. This Christmas I am determined not to use my credit card so I have come up with another way to donate.
I always have items set aside for auctions to help kitties, so I am going to have my own auction, sort of, more of a flash sale. I have 2 items today and if someone wants to buy them, I will cover shipping in the US ( I wish I could afford anywhere). The buyer will pay through paypal, but not mine, one will go for Carmine and the other for Kiril being that last week’s ROAR didn’t help him at all.
Item #1 is for Carmine and it is $10 There is a stocking for kitty, a big catnip mouse, a catnip stocking, an egg that dispenses treats when whacked and 4 of my crocheted toys. If you want to buy it say so in the comments and the 1 st person gets to buy it.
Item #2 is for Kiril and it is $15
A black cat necklace, brand new, purchased at Kohls last Christmas.
Don’t forget to comment to enter the Hanukkah giveaway, Phoebe will announce the winner tomorrow.
Happy Monday everyone! Today is fun and games day–for me 🙂 I am off to the biggest book sale of the year ( driving distance from me). My Mom and I are going to Newtown, CT where they have an annual book sale with 120,000 books. It started Saturday so there won’t be quite that many books, but today is half price day. I will be searching for cat books to use in our giveaways.
Do you like book sales? If you do, you can check out : http://booksalefinder.com/ for book sales in your area. I usually find one or 2 books to sell on Half.com or Amazon that end up paying for all my other purchases.
Be sure to comment today for a chance ( or another chance) to win a shark hat and some catnip toys ( 2 fishies and a chicken leg).
Tomorrow is Phoebe’s 12th Gotcha Day so please stop by. She will be sharing the poem that her purrince wrote for her.
Happy Saturday everyone! Today is the last day to enter the 4th of July Giveaway for these prizes: While your family is out celebrating the 4th, you can be having your own picnic with a chicken leg and an ice cream cone. Then you can play with this patriotic beach ball and “firecracker”.
It’s Saturday so time to get hopping. I am using the same photo for 2 hops. The Lazy Pit Bull’s #52 Snapshots theme is “Father” so I used Pho.to ( I mostly use that one now because it is so easy) I made a cat shaped collage with some photos of the kitties on their Dad’s lap. I also added in one photo of my Dad with KaChoo ( I hope they are together in Heaven). I also added a matching frame so I guess that can count for Athena’s Caturday.
We are also participating in Feeling Beachie’s Follow Friday Four Fill-In Fun.
