Hi everyone!

Look at all this crap my mom recently bought. Apparently, she is having some sort of crisis because she turns 55 today. She has age spot remover, crepe cream, teeth whitener and hair color. Yikes. Give it up mom, face it, you are old.

Well, maybe the hair color. I don’t like seeing you with all those gray hairs. And not sure why you bought creep cream-who would want to be creepy?

It has been a peaceful week with no kids around.

As promised, I got a video of mom’s new animated Halloween broom.

 

I am sure you saw that there are more Potato Heads here now.

Mom and Grammie went to an antique store and found them. Their adoption fee was only $9 for the whole lot. Grammie got them for mom as part of her birthday gift along with the broom, Garfield Pajamas and some other things.

Sorry I don’t have as much gossip as usual this week. Penny will be here with her weekly tips next week so by the time I write again, I will have lots to report.

  3. BON ANNIVERSAIRE, Ms E. Oh, Rosie, mama has some good stuff for keeping young and not turning into an old fogie/fogy (?). Strong coffee in small cup in morning. Sun cream every day on face. Glass of red wine in evening! Snuggling with honey,..every day. Works like a cham! LOVE the pomme de terre family! LOVE your nama’s spirit and imagination and verve and smarts and she will NEVER be old!!! Maybe a few lighter streaks in that hair….you can help her.

  17. This is plenty of news, Rosie, and remember, you aren’t supposed to tell us your mom’s age, you’re only supposed to tell us what age she goes by. As for aging, we all do it, and don’t you want your mom to stay around a while? I know you do, and so do we!

  22. Happy Birthday to your wonderful mom! At age 50 I gave up trying to look nice. Five years later, my face and body appear more bloated than ever while my thinning hair is a long, straggly mess. lol Best wishes to all, including the growing potato family. 🙂
