Valentine’s Toys for Your Cat and a Giveaway!

Hi everyone! Poor Penny doesn’t get to give her tip today, but we are having a giveaway.

First off, I wanted to show you a deal I found at Michael’s Craft store.

  These were regularly $4.99, but were 40% off. There are 12 small felt hearts and 3 larger ones. They seem to be as well made as ones I have seen for cats. I am going to pull the small letters off the larger ones for safety though. I sprayed them with catnip spray and now I have 15 cat toys.

Joanie is here to display the items on our Valentine’s giveaway. A catnip mat, 3 nip knot toys and 3 of the felt hearts. We are also including an adorable little spoon that looks like a cat and hangs on the edge of your mug. To enter, just comment on this post before 9PM EST on Wednesday. Prancie will announce the winner on Thursday. It is open to everyone. Joanie is not included 🙂

    May I suggest Instead of pulling the letters off why not put some stitches around them to secure them to the hearts. Everyone at our house love you catnipmats and crochet toys.

  4. Those are the neatest little hearts! Maybe one could also somehow get real nip into them??
    Dalton will take things and rip them apart if he is able to access any of Pipo’s toys. I worry that he might choke on the mousies…my sister’s dog almost did many years ago when we had no pups and different kitties here…
    Joanie looks like she is thinking about who her Valentine might be.

    1. THat is a good idea to put nip in them. Yes, the mousies are small and a choking hazard to Dalton. Joanie has a Valentine, Simon of KittyCaperz. XO

    Shimshi steals all the toys at Our House and hides them. Even Trixie’s favourite Blue Rabbit is not safe from him!
    We bet Mummy would love a Cat-shaped spoon (mol).

  24. Those are really cute. Don’t enter me in your giveaway, Buddy isn’t really into toys. I just wanted to comment that I have never heard of catnip spray. I may have to get some to see if Buddy likes it.

  36. What fun toys! It’s always fun to find them in unusual places like this. And since the cats usually make toys out of things that aren’t always meant for toys anyway…

  41. Those little hearts immediately put a smile on our Mamas face ! We think some kitties might like the hearts even more if they were sprayed with catnip! 🙂

    The kitty mat and toys look lovely! Avalon LOVES kitty toys. She is very careful with them too so the kitties don’t mind sharing! 🙂
