Hi everyone! Mom is letting me post today and tomorrow.

My ultrasound went well except for them running late so I had to starve even longer. I went 16 hours without food! My murmur was only graded as a one, last week, it was a 3. No abnormalities found and I can get my dental ( scheduled for the 16th-crap).

Mom also had them do an abdominal ultrasound because I have lost weight ( I think it is lack of treats). There was one area of thickening in my intestines that may just be normal for me–or not. Mom needs to keep an eye on my weight and the vet said to feed me. I kind of liked him.

Mom is lazy so she says my press conference photo is our art this week for Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop.  She used photofunia for this.

My Grammie is going to watch us tonight so I know the treats will flow. I love my Grammie so very much.

  3. I hope there is nothing going on, Phoebe! I like that you can eat more. Binga’s didn’t show anything at all – she doesn’t get to eat any more than before because the vet said her weight is stable. She is kind of bummed about that.

  5. Phoebe, it sounds like good news for you except of course the DENTAL part which isn’t particularly FUN (I hear!). Glad your heart is good and the doctor isn’t worried about your “innards” for now. It’s not always easy being a cat – we have our ups and downs but we hope more UPS! Sending hugs….

  10. Sixteen hours? SIXTEEN HOURS WITHOUT FOOD? MO– USES! Glad to hear the test went well though and that the dental is a go. You’ll feel way better afterwards, I am sure. Purrs, Seville.

  15. I am glad your heart murmur is just a grade 1. It was nice of the vet to say you could have plenty of food. I can have food whenever I want to try and stop me losing weight too fast. I am 10 pounds now. My ideal weight was 14 pounds but once I was 16 pounds.

    1. I hope you can gain some weight sweet Flynn. I used to be 13 pound and now I am just short of 9. XO

  29. Poor you ! 16 h without food ! That’s torture ! Happy to hear that all in all you are quite well. When cats get older they get skinnier too ! Pookie looks now like a anorexic model, but she is fine !

    1. Yes, 16 whole hours, that is almost an entire day- it was awful. Good to know Pookie is fine.

    1. Phoebe is getting her dental on the 16th. I am sure she won’t be thrilled, but I know it is in her best interest.
