Hi everyone! Today we are joining two hops, we hope this one photo can count for both. DSCF2153 KaTwo is Awww…. worth for Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and she is showing you all the books I am currently reading for Book Date’s It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

I am not reading any cat books at the moment, but I always read with a cat. I am enjoying Wendy and The Lost Boys: The Uncommon Life of Wendy Wasserstein by Julie Salamon and Watch Me by Anjelica Huston. Watch Me is kind of like reading a celebrity magazine in the 1970’s, I had no idea that Anjelica Huston dated Jack Nicholson for years because I was a child in the 1970’s.

I am bored with Ghosts of 42nd Street by Anthony Bianco and probably won’t finish that one. It reads too much like a history book for my taste. Gotti’s Rules by George Anastasia is boring me too. I used to like mob stories like The Godfather, but as I am getting older, I don’t like all the violence so I have been skipping over that which doesn’t leave much when reading about the mob.

    I’m sorry that some of your books are boring you. I don’t like not finishing a book, but there have been a few that I’ve had to abandon along the way.

  14. We hope the allergy shots are easy peasy and that they help. Mom just downloaded a book for the Cat Scouts book club….guess that’s next on the reading list.

  15. I hope the allergy shots go well! I’ll be anxious to hear how they go. KaTwo is an excellent model. I tend to read several books at once too. I just started a biography of the writer Joan Didion. I hear you about the books that are boring. Life is too short and there are too many books to spend time with one you aren’t enjoying.

  16. Seriously, you didn’t know Angelica dated Jack? They were an item for a very long time…both such wonderful actors! Have you seen “The Grifters” with Angelica? “The Witches of Eastwick” is one of my fav Jack movies. Let us know how the shots are going!

My Mom has not heard of either writer your Mum is reading, My Mom doesn’t read much for crime drama- she prefers to wacth that on TV. I love you my sweet boy. XO and nose kisses

        1. I am most impressed that you can toss litter that far. I do a lot of scratching on the top of the box, but I don’t want to get my paws dirty. Paw kisses and nose kisses and head rubs. XO
          PS: My Mom doesn’t like the Olympics so we can’t watch them, She is jealous of athletic people because she can’t do anything athletic.MOL!

  19. I think reading with a cat would be really enjoyable so long as they don’t sit on the book! My niece just got a kitten and just been watching a little video she put up on Facebook of it chasing its tail, so cute.

    TBT isnt reading annything WE are innerested in, but he is reading ‘The World Until Yesterday (What Can We Learn From Traditional Societies)’ by Jared Diamond. In it, he examines our past in search of a better future.

    1. Thank you, the first shot went well. I probably won’t see results for a long time. I have 2 sneezy cats too Iza, some kind of pollen allergies.
      That sounds like an interesting book TBT is reading.
