Cat Shaming? I Don’t Think So!

Hi everyone! Look at this book Mom got from the library.

DSCF1789 Have you ever heard of something so mean? It is filled with photos of cats wearing signs that tell what naughty things they have done. Mom best not plan to do that to us. I got a lot on her that I could shame her with. For example, just the other night, I caught her on Amazon looking at pillow cases with Nic Cage on them. I had to stop her, I don’t think Dad would like that.

I got to see my Grammie yesterday! I love her so very, very, very much.

I wrote a Haiku poem for my Dad because today is my friend, Sammy’s poem day and he is on the letter D.

I love Dad so very much

He brings me fresh nip

and is generous with treats

Thank you for all the purrs and prayers for Sammy. He is still a conehead wearing the cone, but he is feeling much better.

  7. Oh shaming a cat is NEVER a good idea……! I’m happy that my favorite conehead is better (tee hee) and I know he’ll be happy to be “de-coned” soon and get those stitches out! We will be filling in tomorrow and THANKS for writing a poem for my Poetry Day! Mom loves haiku…..this is a goodie!

  8. Oh, that infamous cat shaming. I don’t think certain kitties around here would like that very much either, Phoebe. I love your haiku for your dad – you’re such a great poet! We’ll keep up those purrs and prayers for Sammy, but we sure are glad to hear he’s feeling well. Now, we’ll get to working on those fill-ins, and we’ll see you tomorrow! Purrs!

  15. Purrseidon would probably try to bury that book in the litter box without reading it, but I wonder if Mr. M would read it to get tips….. those two have had a very odd relationship, recently.

  18. We could never be shamed! We are proud of our perceived misdemeanors 😀
    If our Mama bought the NC pillowcases we don’t think our Daddy would even notice. He is pretty clued out which is why we can get so many treats out of him . . . ;p
    The shades still haven’t arrived…we will send your Mama a note as soon as they get here. Hopefully that will be today!! Glad to hear Sammy is mending well!
