Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.I am thankful that many loved ones joined us Christmas Eve. I am also thankful that I got to spend Christmas Day with my mom and hubby -and kitties.

My kitties have lots of thankfuls today. Millie is thankful to the manly collar his friend Valentine sent him. It even has a bell.

Valentine also sent these yummy treats .

Our friends, Purrseidon and Katsu sent us this giant bag of toys which also included a tunnel. It arrived several weeks ago, but I was mean and made them wait.

And Four-Legged Furballs recently had a giveaway that we won. A beautiful blanket for me and a mini version for the kitties, although I the cats seem to think both are theirs. Lorianne also added in this giant container of Temptations and a stocking filled with toys. And one of her adorable bookmark creations.

Gremmie got a hat from Joanie.

Here is our poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day based on this photo:

I wonder who lives in this house?
It is way too big for just one mouse.
Maybe in it lives an old sage,
one thing for sure is it doesn’t belong to Nic Cage.
Sorry, not my best work. I am still tired from the holidays.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and our co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. On New Year’s Eve, I __________________.

2. A goal that I have for 2019 is ________________.

3. If I had to choose a guide word for 2019, it would be _________.
4. New beginnings _________.

  1. Oh so many wonderful presents! We’re all exhausted from the holiday too and intend to try to get extra naps in between playing with gifts. Thanks for doing a cool poem of that “not Nic Cage’s” cottage. If it was his, I bet your Mom would have visited (tee hee).

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. All kinds of wonderful gifts for Christmas. Excellent.

I’m all ready for tomorrows Friendly Fill-ins. Thanks for co-hosting.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  3. I’m so glad our giveaway box made it to you by Christmas! I’m also so glad that the kitties are enjoying the blankets. Perhaps one day they’ll let you use one of them. Joanie, Gremmie looks absolutely adorable in his hat. Are you two going to wear matching hats? Also, I am quite fond of your poem. I really, really enjoy how your last line so often includes such a fun little twist. I can’t wait to read your fill-ins tomorrow! Merry Third Day of Christmas!

    1. Thank you, I love everything in the box. I will have to see if Target has another hat for Joanie. Gremmie’s is a cat one, but the ear holes were purrfect for Gremmie. Merry 3rd day of Christmas!

  4. Oooh we had some of those Temptations last year and they were good! Signed, Lucy, Ringo, Sadie, and Benny

  5. What wonderful gifts! Wow! Joanie, your hat for Gremmie is cute. Millie, how nice you look in your new collar.

I thought your poem was perfect for that image.

  6. Wow, look at all those goodies! What a nice Christmas for all of you.
Post-Christmas exhaustion is always expected and understood. 🙂

  7. Looks like you all have enough presents to keep you having a whole lot of fun for a long time. Happy New Year hug, PoohGirl, Chancy Man and Mags

  8. What a nice Christmas it was there. And it’s wonderful to remember to be thankful for one’s blessings. I am not thankful enough, I think. (I do love that little house, too…)

  9. Aww… Mom and I sure appreciate all that you do. We’re so-o glad your package arrived from us. Millie, I thought the green and white of the collar would go nicely with your furrs. I think the collar looks grr-eat on you! Purr purr purr.
