Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Thank you all for playing the caption game yesterday. I enjoyed all of them. Does anyone else have a cat that chases after the vacuum cleaner?
Penny was thankful to help Chef Teddy last Saturday. To see, click here.
I am thankful for our beautiful petunias that my hubby starts from seeds every spring.
Sorry, I skipped the poem this week.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

The petunias are lovely. A word I can’t pronounce is anemone. I know how it should be pronounced but always get the first n and m the wrong way around. Even if I say it slowly it still happens. My hubby laughs at me..
Thank you. That is a tough one. XO
Oh those petunias are beautiful and how wonderful that you all grew them from seed. Well done! Teddy hides when the vacuum cleaner comes out – his predecessor Angel Sammy was not a van of the vacuum either! Thanks for the fill-ins.
Hugs, Pam
Thank you. XO
WOW, what a hubby!!!! Those are blue-ribbon winners. As for vacuum cleaners, we didn’t recognize it and thought maybe it was a pole for holding something (or someone) up, haha.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Beautiful petunias. I never had any luck with them by seed and I always wish that I could. We’re having a terrible terrible storm up here this morning and already have almost 3 inches of rain. Crazy weather.
Thank you. That is a lot of rain. xO
Cute pics of Penny and Chef Teddy. Callie runs from the vacuum while I’m using it but if it is left out and not put away, she sleeps on it. Your petunias are beautiful.
Thank you. That is funny she sleeps on it. XO
You’re welcome, Ellen. I think it is the noise that scares her.
Love the chef pic. I probably won’t be participating in Friday’s posts this week. I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things. I’ll restart on Sunday, I hope.
I hope you feel better soon. XO
Many years ago my brother in law had 2 cats, Ursula and Gudrin who loved for him to vacuum them. He used the upholstery attachment kinga of brushing and sucking up furs.
Hugs cecilia
Sounds like they were brave. XO

Chaplin: “I don’t think we’ve ever had petunias. Mama has a lot of plumeria outside, though, and that also starts with a ‘p’, so close enough?”
Close enough. 🙂

Rusty thinks it is the enemy too. Thank you. He has the pots up on cinder blocks to keep bunnies away. XO
None of my kitties actually chase the vacuum cleaner, but Tonks has no fear of it and so will just hang out right next to where I’m vacuuming. Penny, Chef Teddy was so lucky to have your expert assistance. And what beautiful petunias! Purrs!
Tonks is brave. 🙂 Thank you. XO
I’m impressed that he grows petunias from seed. 😀 It’s a whole lot more economical, for sure. Hugs, my dear.
Thank you. Not really, he paid a fortune for the seeds for this particular color. XO
That was a great recipe!
Thank you. 🙂
You and Penny sent in a great recipe.
The petunias are beautiful!
Thank you. XO
Ya’ll making some biscuits?? Those petunias are beautiful.
xoxo,
Matilda & Mama
Thank you. XO
the petunias are jus so pretty. And grown from seed – that is awesome. Mom loves petunias, but never has very long lasting luck with them.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Thank you.
Those petunias were started from seeds? That’s amazing! Your hubby has a green thumb!
Yes, he tarts them in January. 🙂
My cat runs from the vacuum. Beautiful flowers. It was great seeing Penny and Teddy working together.
Most of mine do too. 🙂 Thank you. XO
Mudpie pretty much ignores it. Doesn’t even scare her anymore.
That is good. 🙂
Those were fun thankfuls! Our Angel Zoe used to smack the heck outta the vacuum. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Glad Rusty is not the only one. 🙂 XO
That was a good recipe that Penny and Teddy shared. The petunias are stunning…love the color. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh

Scooby likes to play with the vacuum cleaner and is a nuisance!
Same here with Rusty. 🙂
