Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Thank you all for playing the caption game yesterday. I enjoyed all of them. Does anyone else have a cat that chases after the vacuum cleaner?

Penny was thankful to help Chef Teddy last Saturday. To see, click here.

I am thankful for our beautiful petunias that my hubby starts from seeds every spring.

Sorry, I skipped the poem this week.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. A word I have trouble pronouncing is _______________________________.
2. A word I usually spell wrong is _____________________________.
3. If _________, my life would be very different.
4. _________ is the best way to _________.

  1. The petunias are lovely. A word I can’t pronounce is anemone. I know how it should be pronounced but always get the first n and m the wrong way around. Even if I say it slowly it still happens. My hubby laughs at me..

  2. Oh those petunias are beautiful and how wonderful that you all grew them from seed. Well done! Teddy hides when the vacuum cleaner comes out – his predecessor Angel Sammy was not a van of the vacuum either! Thanks for the fill-ins.

    Hugs, Pam

  3. WOW, what a hubby!!!! Those are blue-ribbon winners. As for vacuum cleaners, we didn’t recognize it and thought maybe it was a pole for holding something (or someone) up, haha.

  4. Beautiful petunias. I never had any luck with them by seed and I always wish that I could. We’re having a terrible terrible storm up here this morning and already have almost 3 inches of rain. Crazy weather.

  5. Cute pics of Penny and Chef Teddy. Callie runs from the vacuum while I’m using it but if it is left out and not put away, she sleeps on it. Your petunias are beautiful.

  6. Love the chef pic. I probably won’t be participating in Friday’s posts this week. I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things. I’ll restart on Sunday, I hope.

  7. Many years ago my brother in law had 2 cats, Ursula and Gudrin who loved for him to vacuum them. He used the upholstery attachment kinga of brushing and sucking up furs.

    1. Rusty thinks it is the enemy too. Thank you. He has the pots up on cinder blocks to keep bunnies away. XO

  9. None of my kitties actually chase the vacuum cleaner, but Tonks has no fear of it and so will just hang out right next to where I’m vacuuming. Penny, Chef Teddy was so lucky to have your expert assistance. And what beautiful petunias! Purrs!

    1. Thank you. Not really, he paid a fortune for the seeds for this particular color. XO

  10. the petunias are jus so pretty. And grown from seed – that is awesome. Mom loves petunias, but never has very long lasting luck with them.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  11. Those were fun thankfuls! Our Angel Zoe used to smack the heck outta the vacuum. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
