Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

2. I am so tired of waiting for _____________________.
3. I can’t believe I still remember _________.

My answers:
1. The longest I have been without electricity is a full week. Back in 2011 there was an ice storm and it took that long to get power back.
2. I am so tired of waiting for at vet appointments. They are never on time.
3. I can’t believe I still remember the combination from my locker in junior high- 1-28-16.
4. I wish I could go back and experience watching the tv show, Resident Alien for the first time again. We watched all the episodes multiple times already.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi
My flashback is from March 2020. Angel Emmy was wearing her bunny ears for The Catburry Bunny auditions. The first of this year’s auditions will be on Selfie Sunday.

Good fill ins and adorable picture of Angel Emmy! I think we’ve been without power for a week too, way out in the woods after a rare deep snow storm. We had a wood stove and maybe even a propane heater by that time. XO
Thank you. Glad you had the wood stove and heater. XO
Angel Emmy sure looked sweet in those ears!
1. The longest I have been without electricity is A few days, but nowadays we have a generator that comes on automatically, it’s wired into the house and the gas line. The longest we have used it is several days. after a bad ice storm.
2. I am so tired of waiting for the peepsmto come and mark the roadside where our mailbox post has to go in, we don’t want to dig into something important.
3. I can’t believe I still remember falling off my trike and going to the ER, when I was about three, and I can remember a whole lot from when I was seven and spent 9 weeks in the Netherlands.
4. I wish I could go back and experience seeing a live opera with my music teacher for the first time again.
(And for some reason I do not remember what opera it was, LOL! Just that going there with him and his wife was quite a thrill, later we went as a whole class to some other ones, as well as orchestra concerts. Those were the days! I was 15 or 16…I don’t think that concert hall/opera house is there anymore…sigh…)
Thank you. And thanks for these great answers. I am glad you have a generator. I can’t remember back to 3. XO
WOW…..a few days without electricity can be quite a tough experience but these days those who have outdoor generators are lucky they don’t have to worry about it! The fill-ins were extra fun this week – thanks for the fun filling in the blanks!!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Thank you. I wish we still had ours. XO
The longest we have been without electric was after a storm and also about a week. All the poles wires and fuse poles have been replaced since then, so it is not usually any more than 10 hours.
That is a sweet flashback of Angel Emmy.
A pole was down for our most recent outage. Thank you. XO
Great fill-ins, and a sweet pic of Angel Emmy in those ears.
1. The longest I have been without electricity is 2 weeks when a hurricane hit Florida.
2. I am so tired of waiting for for winter to end.
3. I can’t believe I still remember my phone number from eons ago.
4. I wish I could go back and experience the Broadway musical Cats for the first time again.
Thank you. And thanks for these great answers. WOW- 2 weeks without power is insane. I saw Cats too- we took my niece. XO
Emmy makes the perfect Easter bunny. The longest we’ve gone without electricity here has been 4 days. That was in 2012 and it was summer with over 100° heat. You just never know when it’s going to happen.
Thank you. Better in the summer so pipes don’t freeze. XO
1. The longest I have been without electricity I think was a day and a half. Closer to two days. Ice storm.
2. I’m so tired of “have to be there” type days! I feel sorta ” GO AWAY!”
3. I can’t believe I vividly remember many days at play times and just family times when I was 2 years old (according to my parents knowledge of when these things happened.) You never know what kids take in, I’m thinking!
4. I also wish I could go back and experience my first attendance at age 14 (and onward till marriage) and subsequent ones, of live plays and musicals with real stars of Hollywood. Right in the small town where I was living. There was a famous place called The Music Circus there. St. John Terrell owned it. And a famous Play house across the river I walked to in the next State for the same entertainment.
Thank you for these great answers. The plays sound great. XO
Angel Emmy… always adorable but especially for the Catbury Bunny auditions with her bunny ears. Being without electricity after a hurricane is a terrible experience but is awful for whatever reason.
My Fill-Ins~
1. The longest I have been without electricity is 6 days. It was due to Hurricane Ian making landfall an hour south of us at Fort Myers Beach, Florida. We had 100 Oaks ripped out of the ground in our neighborhood and a great deal of wind damage. It hit us on my birthday!
2. I am so tired of waiting for them to rebuild the South Jetty, at Venice Florida after severe damage from Hurricanes Helene and Ian. It will take years to rebuild it. I have the best memories of the South Jetty.
3. I can’t believe I still remember getting my first Rawlings baseball glove for my First Communion. Not exactly a traditional or proper First Communion gift.
4. I wish I could go back and experience my English riding lessons for the first time again.
Happy Friday, Meowing Crew and Ellen and Hubby!
Thank you for these great answers. That was a bad hurricane. It may not have been a traditional gift, but it was clearly memorable. Typhoid Mary is making hers this year. XO
Those are all good answers. We’re very fortunate, our Vet never keeps us waiting.
Thank you. Yes, you are.
Great answers! Emmy wore those ears well.
Thank you. 🙂
Waiting at the vet, especially the emergency vet, is a nightmare. It’s at least an hour. You can call ahead but they triage all the patients and take them in order of criticality so you can be bumped by a bleeding pup.
Yes, it is. Our emergency vet has a sign that it can take up to 24 hours to be seen.
The Hubby also remembers his school locker combo.
I remember our childhood phone #, but that’s because my mother still has it after 64 years!!!
(I was the one in charge of transferring that phone # from her old provider to the assisted living apartment she’s in now. Figured that I could NOT screw it up, and worked hard to make sure things went smoothly.)
How cool that your mom still has that number. XO
Charlee: “Our Mama and Dada liked ‘Resident Alien’ too ― Mama is a big fan of that Alan Tudyk!”
Chaplin: “Angel Emmy was a cute bunny! I bet she was making muffins on that fuzzy blanket ― I know I would have been!”
He is an incredible actor. Thank you. Emmy wasn’t a muffin maker.
Happy Spring. I decided to play along today.
Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-Ins.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ellen. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥
Thank you. I was so happy that you joined today. XO
OMCs you remember your hs combination? I’m impressed.
Emmy are are an adorable Feline Bunny
Hugs cecilia
Thank you. XO
I never did finish watching Resident Alien. I will have to do that when the current TV season is over. Angel Emmy looks cute in her bunny ears.
I think you will be pleased with the last few episodes. Thank you. XO
Wonderful fillins despite the long time without electricity ~ sweet kitty with bunny ears ~ hugs ~ ^_^

https://pensitivity101.wordpress.com/2026/03/20/new-q-and-a-challenge/
It worked- thanks for visiting.
Cute picture! A week is a very long time.
Thank you. Yes, it is. 🙂
We’re blessed to go to a very small vet clinic and they usually do take us about on time, it’s one of the reasons I look for a smaller clinic.
Angel Emmy was a fabulous Catburry Bunny, thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.
I wish I could find one like that. Thank you. XO
The longest I’ve been without electricity was about 30 hours. I can’t imagine a week, that must have been terrible.
Yes, it was. 🙂
Been lucky with electricity failing only 1 1/2 days. With no electric it is back to living Little House on the Prairie! Like Emmy’s ears!
Yes, it sure is. Thank you.
Emmy was so precious. ~hugs~ I adore Alan Tudyk. Did you ever watch the show “Dollhouse”? My husband couldn’t get into it and only four episodes aired. ~sigh~ His portrayal as Alpha was amazing, of course. Be well!
Thank you.I miss her. He is an amazing actor. I first saw him in Firefly. I will look up Dollhouse. XO
Angel Emmy is absolutely, utterly adorable in her bunny ears – I bought some a few years ago, but no B Team memfur would wear them! LOL Great fill-ins, and I agree that tv show was pawesome!
Thank you. 🙂 She was a good sport. I bet Amber would wear them. XO
Outstanding fill-ins. Our vet only makes appointments for surgical procedures, otherwise, it’s first come, first serve. If I get in queue early it’s not too bad (since COVID everyone has to wait outside) so it’s not too bad. Though moving about 12 miles away, traffic in the morning is heavy. It seems like we have to wait for everything, everywhere. Sigh.
That is unusual to have a vet that doesn’t make appointments.
