We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Emmy is thankful for her new witch toy that she got for the ride to the vet on Wednesday.

I am thankful that she didn’t have to have fluid removed from around her heart. The last time was 13 days ago, she has some fluid there, but not enough to put her through the procedure again right now. She gets Lasix 3 times a day so hopefully it will continue to keep the fluids to a minimum.

We are joining the poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the photo prompt provided.

These ladies are chatting away
They don’t care if I stand here all day.
Being that they won’t let me speak,
I can’t tell them the big sale is next week.

  6. That is the funniest poem ever…haha. And don’t you just love it when you find out that what you bought is now on sale for half the price…argggggh. I hope so much that sweet and beautiful Emmy, clearly my cousin, will get better with her meds.

  8. So happy Emmy didn’t need fluid removed – the meds must be doing their job better. As for your poem – it’s FABULOUS – those poor girls will miss out on a sale but I have a feeling they don’t care – I doubt they even want to buy shoes – I think they just want to SIT DOWN and have a chat!
