Awww…Monday

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays.

The Boy is going to be a good dad someday. He is all boy with tractors, Spiderman and football, but every once in a while, he plays with his sisters’ dolls. He changes their diapers, feeds them and left them with a babysitter ( my mom) when he went up to his room to play with me.

Rosie will be here tomorrow with all the latest.

  1. It’s never to early to learn about all aspects of life. Whether it’s working with your hands outside or whether it’s inside taking care of the home. He’s a great boy.

  2. Wow. He has a great dad, and is just doing what he sees. Boys and girls can all play with dolls (be parents) and work (with tractors or computers or cooking or whatever line of work), and he has it down.

  3. Charlee: “Sounds like The Boy will be well-prepared in the future! Unlike our Dada, who would always get a panicked look on his face and attempt to disappear whenever one of his cousins tried to get him to hold one of their babies for a few minutes.”
Chaplin: “Yep but if they wanted him to hold a kitten or a puppy, the only problem would be trying to get it back from him later.”

    1. He seems to like babies. When I was little I only liked stuffed animals. I gave the dolls to my dog. 🙂

  4. That’s a good thing. Boys can be great dads someday. Someone is teaching him how to be a good dad someday. Excellent.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to their mom. ♥

  5. I loved this! When I had the children, I included one small doll with each one. Not dressed up a bunch. Just a rudimentary doll. They played with it. All three, and for a few years, as a fave…I think it’s a great idea and a few boy toys for the girls.

  6. Wonderful that he is taking care of the baby dolls. And that he is not discouraged from doing so. Someday he may have children of his own to take care of. I think he has patience too. When the kids were trying to crack open the geodes he never gave up hammering at his. 🙂

  7. The Boy has a big heart. That is a sweet photo.
I am not surprised he was taking care of the dolls.

  8. That is the most darling little ‘man’ we have ever heard about. What a treasure and perhaps his auntie had something to do with it…..
