Friendly Fill-Ins Week 333

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. _______________________keeps me on my toes.
2. I know it’s going to be a bad day when __________________________.
3. To me, _________ is one of the scariest things in the world.
4. Believe it or not, _________ doesn’t scare me.
My answers:
1. The Great One and Typhoid Mary keep(s) me on my toes.
2. I know it’s going to be a bad day when my pop tart gets stuck in the toaster and breaks into several pieces when I attempt to remove it.
3. To me, cancer is one of the scariest things in the world.
4. Believe it or not, a spider in the house doesn’t scare me. I love spiders. Well, I wouldn’t want a taratula moving in, but the rest are fine. 🙂
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

My flashback is from October 2014 when my Angel Sammy joined Cat Scouts. He was such a handsome boy.

  1. Good fill-ins Ellen! We don’t mind the spiders who catch some of the unpleasant bugs. We remove non-webbing spiders and release safely outside. Venomous ones, those would be different. XO

  2. I admit to being scared silly of even tiny spiders!

    1. Looking after sick people at my work, keeps me on my toes.
    2. I know it’s going to be a bad day at work, when everyone has their call light on when I have my regular chores to get done…and then I get all behind…and the behinder I get…the behinder I stay! LOL!.
    3. To me, seeing my hubby having a grand-mal seizure twice in one day was one of the scariest things in the world. (Followed by being in car accidents a few times, one which totaled my van after it got pushed on to the concrete divider, and I rode that thing for about 100 feet like a circus ride…while all the glass impede onto my son and I.)
    4. Believe it or not, most snakes in my region don’t scare me.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I am sure your busy constantly at work. I am sure that was very scary to see that happen to your husband as well as the accident. All snakes scare me. XO

  3. I don’t like spiders. The big black ones keep finding their way into the bath! I agree with #3. Every day is a blessing.
Sammy made a very handsome scout.

    1. We have one in the tub sometimes too, but he moves when I turn the shower on. XO

  4. We always have fun on fill-in day. This week Mom and I shared filling in. My Mom totally agrees with you about cancer – it is scary. We have a pretty good “crop” of spiders on our front porch but they catch other bugs in their webs and keep the porch free of pests. If the spiders are BIG though, Mom isn’t too happy about them!

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. Great fill-ins. I had trouble with them this week. That’s a good thing though. Makes me think.

Aw on Angel Sammy. I know how special he was to you.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. xo ♥

  6. Awww, handsome photo of Angel Sammy. Little spiders don’t scare me but the big spiders are not welcome in my house.

  7. Chaplin: “Four questions, one for each of us! I’ll go first! 1. Chasing moths keeps me on my toes.”
Charlee: “2. I know it’s going to be a bad day when I don’t get lap time with Dada in the morning.”
Lulu: “3. To me, the base making great big booms is one of the scariest things in the world.”
Java Bean: “4. Believe it or not, base booming doesn’t scare me.”
Lulu: “How can base booming not scare you?!”
Java Bean: “Ehh, I lived on the streets. I’ve seen and heard it all.”

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I am sorry you don’t always get lap time Charlee. You are brave Java. XO

  8. I 100% agree with # 3
Wait til you see the spider that tried to eat me last week. He was all scrunched up in his web but when I saw a google photo of him all stretched I squealed all over again. It will appear tomorrow on Spooky Spider Saturday
    Hugs Cecilia

  9. Spiders… I don’t know… some of them are very pretty but for the most part I don’t want to see them in the house. Terrified of Recluse spiders, they were in our garage on The Tiny Ten. Yes, I would think for sure that TGO and TM would certainly keep you on your toes. Sammy, handsome in a uniform♥
    My Fill-Ins~
    1. SSNS keeps me on my toes.
    2. I know it’s going to be a bad day when I have to go food shopping.
    3. To me, a hurricane is one of the scariest things in the world.
    4. Believe it or not, an alligator doesn’t scare me.
    Thank you Ellen! Hugs!

    1. I don’t think we have those in Mass. Thank you for your great answers. I can’t believe you don’t fear alligators. I can see why you fear hurricanes. XO

  10. Pawsome fill-ins. I’m with you on spiders (and have actually had a few tarantulas that were fascinating pets–it’s the live cricket food that skeezed me out 😆). Have a great weekend.

  12. I have a thing about spiders, but I’ve learned to live with them.
Except for the one that dropped down from the ceiling right in front of my face, while I sat working at my desk the other day.
    EEKS!

  13. I’ve always been scared of spiders. If I see one in my home, I manage to catch it and put it outside, but it gives me the shivers. Good answers.

  14. i LOVE hearing that you love spiders! So do i. My mom never let us kill them in the house. If we found one we had to move it to the basement so it could have lots to eat.Mom loved that they ate all the other bugs. Taught me to respect anything with 8 legs!

  15. Fabulous fill-ins and definitely agree with #3, although I don’t like to think about #3 at all! Happy Weekend and thank mew as always for sharing and hosting and it’s lovely to see Angel Sammy today, he is still missed very much at BBHQ!
