Selfie Sunday: The Tocktober Edition-Part 2

Happy Selfie Sunday everyone! We have really made a dent in those treats Grammie brought us. She watched us on Friday so we had lots. I love my Grammie so very much.

As most of you know, October is breast cancer awareness month so we are having a pink giveaway. 010There is a catnip mat, socks and some pink toys. Just comment today through Wednesday ( you can comment every day for more chances). And please remember that breast cancer can strike kitties too- especially those that are not spayed or get spayed later in life. I am worried because I was not spayed until I was one.

  8. Pink!!! Love pink……yes I know I’m a guy and I’m supposed to wear BLUE, but pink is nice too – like our lovely tongues when we’re having a lickety of our favorite noms. I was happy to read on Christy’s blog that SHE had the bikini and was about to send it on its’ way. YAY! Thanks for the TOCKS – it’s month full of them………..

  19. Great Tocks my friends. I would like to do the bikini thing too Ellen. It will probably be snowing by the time we see the bikini but mom will fix the snow. I have faith in her. A cat show….how great. You will see some bloggers there…..how nice. We will be interested to hear all about it.

  21. Well bootyful Phoebe luv all da tocks. And dat’s a pawsum give away yous havin’. Glad yous got lots of tweats fwum yous gwammy. And me knows me can’t say fur certain, but 1 year old isn’t weally dat old fur bein’ spayed. Yous had more than likely only had one heat by then and so yous still low in da risk factor fur mammowy cancer.

    1. Thank you, that makes us feel better. Phoebe had one litter of kittens, I am not sure if that adds to her risk. So many of my kitties were fixed later in life that it scares me. XO

  28. Wonderful pink giveaway, and a wonderful cause. One is not old for being spayed, but you are doing a great thing to make people aware. Some spay too early, which is also dangerous.

    Cute pictures! Your mom is funny. There will be no “tocktober” here. I just can’t bring myself to embarass my furkids. ♥

    1. I did not realize a cat could be spayed too young, that is interesting. I am sure your kitties wouldn’t mind being embarrassed as long as they got paid in treats. 🙂
