Hi everyone! It has been a sad week for kitties with the loss of Cameron from Jan’s Funny Farm and Squatty the Stray from Indulged Furries. My heart goes out to their families.001

I knew I was going to have to wear those stinkin bunny ears, but at least I got paid in treats and $1. Should I have asked for more? I almost have enough saved for a new pole. Don’t tell the other kitties, but Grammie gives my a dollar every week and on holidays I get even more- shhh! I love her so very much and I would even if she didn’t give me money. 005Here are the Cadbury Bunny auditions:

  5. Gosh – the auditions are coming along nicely. I’m not sure I’d be that good if Mom stuck bunny ears on my head though……fortunately I just have to endure an Easter scarf on Easter……we are “earless” here!

  9. MY mommy always gave me a dollar a week allowance. I had…emphasis on HAD a red see through piggy bank. I don;t see it and I am going to insist on another RIGHT now!

    1. I wonder what happened to it- you need an allowance for all the work you do.

  14. Allowance!!!! Mes been robbed! Mes don’t gets an allowance!! Hmmm, mes will be 17 in 7 weeks, so 52×17=884-7=877. Mommy, yous owes mes $877 dollars!!!!
    Can yous imagine the treats mes could buy with that! and mes could gives half to those who needs it more and STILL has lots!
    Any ways, mes gotted off track, yous guys all looks so cute in your bunny ears and if Mommy thinks shes can puts any on me this year, she is mistaken!

  25. Thank you for remembering Squatty the Stray. It will take a while to get used to not seeing him in our yard and getting his meals ready for him.

    Phoebe, I’m glad you were paid for enduring the bunny ears. But I think you should have been paid at least $1.50.

    Sammy actually looks very cute laying down with the bunny ears on.

    Thanks for the kind comments regarding Maggie. I appreciate it. Yes, they tested her for everything, and it all seems to be her heart (which breaks mine). At this point, they are thinking it is heredity. We have had other Maine Coons who had cardiomyopathy, too. Sadly, it is often genetic. Hugs.

    Um…you know we see real bunnies here, outside, but they are brown and not all white…maybe they give diffurent chocolate eggs to those who get them, MOL!

    And then of course there are the always purrsent dust bunnies, OMC!!
