No, we didn’t get a dog. This is my niece’s dog, Nora. She is a good model.
And my Lucy was the best model ever- she even earned her beads.

Oh, I always learn something new! I’ve never heart of Mardi Gras before – that sounds like a lot of fun! And Lucy is gorgeous!
Mardi Gras is fun. You eat and eat and eat then you give up something for the next 40 days. I am giving up chocolate. I miss my Lucy. XO
Hm, the first part sounds great… 😉 We celebrate Mardi Gras in some parts of Europe as well, but it’s calles carnival. It’s 5 days and the last day is always a Tuesday. From that Wednesday (today) until Eastern (could be 40 days) it’s Lent.
That is a long celebration. One day is enough for me. 🙂

Happy Mardi Gras! You are all so cute in your beads. It looks like you are having a great party. We are weird here in Metro Detroit. We don’t really celebrate Mardi Gras in the traditional way. We celebrate Paczki Day. 🙂 I’m off to get a paczki right now!
Our local grocery chain pushes the paczki too and they have for the last month. Enjoy 🙂
