    1. Mardi Gras is fun. You eat and eat and eat then you give up something for the next 40 days. I am giving up chocolate. I miss my Lucy. XO

      1. Hm, the first part sounds great… 😉 We celebrate Mardi Gras in some parts of Europe as well, but it’s calles carnival. It’s 5 days and the last day is always a Tuesday. From that Wednesday (today) until Eastern (could be 40 days) it’s Lent.

  19. Happy Mardi Gras! You are all so cute in your beads. It looks like you are having a great party. We are weird here in Metro Detroit. We don’t really celebrate Mardi Gras in the traditional way. We celebrate Paczki Day. 🙂 I’m off to get a paczki right now!

  27. Belated Happy Mardi Gras! Those are all lovely photos of you with your beads. I am sorry to be late visiting but we keep losing our connection with the storms, and it was down most of Tuesday.
