H is for Happy Pill

Hi everyone! Today we are joining Book Date’s It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading? and Comedy Plus’ Awww…..Mondays Blog Hops. Today is also letter H day for the A-Z Blogging Challenge. What better way to start a Monday then with a Happy Pill?

This week, I am reading James Altucher’s latest book, Reinvent Yourself.I really admire this guy because despite failing at many businesses, he never gave up. This book is filled with things he learned through failure. He also writes about things he learned from people he admires.

He says we are not just the sum of the 5 people we are with the most, but also the 5 things we read, watch, etc. He has a lot of simple, yet so wise advice. I have written about him a few times in the past. I have most of his books and reviewed one here.

Kuddos to Four- Legged Furballs’ Mom, she was the only one that noticed Polar Bear did not wear bunny ears!

  1. What a huge happy pill! Dog guy and Minko who are getting pills right now would have a conniption if petcretary tried to get that one down their gullets. Even she who can toss a handful of pills and capsules all at once would have this one stick in her throat. MOL,
MOL! It might make a good kitty kicker!

  2. Now that happy pill is big enough for ALL of you!!! Tee Hee……….it’s a clever design your Mommy did……..!!

    Love, Teddy

    1. Thank you, I wish I could say I designed it, but I followed a pattern 🙂 XO

  3. A happy pill is a great way to start the day. It’s simple but so true, we are the sum of what we put into our minds through what we read, hear, watch, and the people we are with. It reminds me of the children’s Sunday school song about being careful, little eyes, what you see and little ears, what you hear.

  4. That looks like the perfect happy pill to us! The kitties want to know if it’s laced with catnip? And the book you’re reading sounds very enlightening, so thank you for sharing it with us!

  5. Now that is what we call a very Happy Pill. Much better than regular pills. That does sound like an interesting book. Thanks for the good review. Have a great day.

  6. Sounds like an interesting book but I don’t read nonfiction. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  7. Please send me a happy pill! ?? Not really. As long as I have Sweet Penny in my heart, that’s all the happy pill I need!!

  12. Well, we finally can report that Mommy is reading a good book. It’s called the Nazi Officer’s Wife. It’s about a Jewish woman during WWII who took on a different identity to hide during the war.

    Our happy pill is treats!

  13. That sounds like a book from which our mom could benefit. Thanks for letting us know about it. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, CalistaJo and Cooper Murphy
