  1. 1. Trust cats, they never lie.
    2. I would protest a world without cats.
    3. I havehad cats around me from birth, but the 4 years of college without them was lonely.
    4. Right now, I have the Mews all around me on the computer desk. .

    1. Thank you for your great fill-in answers, I enjoyed them. I never had cats until I got married, I feel like I had a deprived childhood.

  2. My heart goes out to you on the itchiness. No, it’s not MSG that does it to me, it’s other things, but i still sympathize. It’s awful to run into one of those things without realizing.

What a lovely memory of Phoebe and Snoball!

  3. YES YES YES on your fill-ins about kitties……and also a big YES on those cute photos of Snowball and Phoebe who are of course at the Bridge together on a cloud just as they loved being together here! Sorry about the MSG itchies – I bet that’s worse than fleas!

    Love, Teddy

    1. Thank you. I bet they are at the Bridge hanging out with your Sammy. XO and love to you and your mom

  4. I don’t trust anyone who says they don’t like cats or says mean things about cats. Those pictures are so sweet! I hope your itchiness has gotten better! 🙂

  5. It always make me smile big time when I see two cats get along like Phoebe and Snowball. I have some here that do that. And your fill-ins are terrific. We so agree with you. Have a wonderful day.

    1. They were my only ones that did that. I wish my other kitties were snuggly with one another.

    1. Oh, my dear. I so appreciate your kindly visits to my humble blog and doubt my penmanship is any better. In my opinion, lefties rock. I write messy either hand, both of which I’ve practiced for mental stimulation. Love you!

  6. I agree with you about not loving cats, or hurting them. I can’t imagine.

I hope your itchiness goes away soon. I hate it when it happens.

I linked you to Feline Friday.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday all you kitties. My best to your peeps. ♥

  7. Your answer to #1 is purrfect! And I completely agree with your #2. Joanie looks so cozy on your lap. That’s how Eddy likes to sleep on my lap as well. I love it. And thank you for sharing these precious photos of your sweet angels Phoebe and Snowball. They indeed are together again, watching over you together.

  8. Amen to your #1 and 2!!!! Once in the mid ’90’s my daughter had a first date with a guy who actually admitted to he never liked cats, upon his return from their date…as he was looking at her beloved Cornish Rex Cali. When he asked her out a second time she said she didn’t trust anyone who didn’t like cats
    Hugs madi and mom

  9. big time awz two ewe both snowball N phoebe ♥♥♥ N ta mom two ~~~~~~ ♥♥

  10. Oh, we LOVE your fill-ins this week! We’re sorry about the MSG itchies. Hope you figure out where it came from and it’s not something you love to eat too often!

  11. Your fill-ins could be mine. Well, except 3 and 4. 🙂

Phoebe and Snowball are so soft and sweet looking as well as beautiful girls. Smoochies heavenward to them.

  12. Absolutely agree on 1-3! I always want to have a cat at my side, so someone who has a problem with that is not the right one for me.
Hope you feel better soon, avoiding MSG can be quite tricky.
And Phoebe and Snowball really made a wonderful pair.
    Have a great weekend,
    Viola

  13. I think that some people are afraid of cats because they’ve never had a proper introduction to how sweet they can be. And then there are the poor people who are so allergic they can’t be in a room with cats. My older sister and my daughter-in-law are like this. They can’t breathe. But I agree that if someone doesn’t like animals at all, they probably don’t like people much either and shouldn’t be trusted. My grandmother said to watch how a man treats animals and that will tell you all you need to know about him. She was right.

I so agree with you about protesting things that would cause harm to cats… or dogs. We need to be their caretakers and their champions to make sure they don’t have to suffer. Nothing makes me angrier than that, because all they give us is love and devotion.

I remember thinking that Nicholas Cage was pretty dreamy back then too.

MSG can definitely cause some bad allergic reactions. I am allergic to a lot of different things too, the list grows as I grow older. Too much cinnamon is one of them! I hope your itchies go away soon!

Joanie is too cute with her long tail wrapped like that, so sweet! <3 Have a great week ahead, Ellen! XO

  14. I think people who don’t like cats are people who haven’t taken the time to try to understand cats. There are some cats that are unlikeable, just like there are people who are unlikeable. But with enough effort, even those cats (and people) have a quality that can be liked or at least appreciated. But I do seem to like people best who like animals.

  15. We love the pictures of Phoebe and Snowball! Tail wraps are one of my weaknesses. When Bear sits on the table next to where I work, he’ll often wrap his tail around his front … covering his paws. Ellie’s the master of the tail hug when you pet her.

  16. We will have sad memories of Chuck on Sunday, because he won our last two SuperBowl squares contests. Their memories live with us, even if they aren’t here. It’s hardest in the wintertime, when there isn’t much to do but think…

  17. Mee beeuteefull Purrincess an Phoebe an Brofur Snowball…. **sniffullsss**

  18. Such sweet photos today! We like your answers too and totally agree on the first two. When someone says they don’t like cats, our Mommy wants nothing to do with them!

  19. Those are precious photos of Phoebe and Snowball. {{{Hugs}}}

I am sorry that MSG makes you itchy. I hope that you feel better very soon.

I agree with you about the kitties. Who wouldn’t like cats? 🙂

    1. Thank you, I miss them very much. MSG makes me itchy, but Benadryl makes me better, but tired. XO

  20. Phoebe and Snowball gave you such precious and special memories to cherish.

I loved you mostly kitty themed fill ins:)

    1. Trust can be so tenuous and easily lost. You have to believe and work hard to maintain it.
    2. I would protest if I had to move to a different part of the building where I work. Iove the residents I care for..
    3. I have only had kitties and dogs since being married.
    4. Right now, I am about to get ready for bed, because I spend far too much time sitting here looking/commenting on blogs…far into the wee hours. Bad but fun habit, MOL! .

    1. Thank you, I miss them a lot.
Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. I agree that trust is easily lost. I bet your patients would protest too if they couldn’t have you. Have a nice weekend! XO

  21. Joannie is beautiful.
I agree with your fill ins, especially that Nicholas Cage is gorgeous and not to trust anyone that doesn’t love cats.
    Have a great week.
