  1. Going out to dinner early on New Year’s Eve is the smart way to do it. Praying you all stay healthy and have a fabulous 2018!

  2. Good idea to go out EARLY on NYE – maybe I can talk my hubby into that one too! I hope there is no heartache coming in 2018 with your kitty crew – here’s to a healthy new year for all of them. Love that Gremlin!!!!

    Hugs, Pam (and Teddy Too!)

  3. Ellen,

Going out for Chinese on New Year’s Eve sounds nice but I hate being out because traffic is usually awful and I always fret about drunks coming out early. I hope y’all have a good time, though. 🙂 Your 2018 goal to self-publish is an excellent one and I hope it works out for you. Go, girl! Go!! *applaud* I believe I remember you telling us of your two short story publications which is awesome. I think we all want to close the door on the bad parts of 2017 and hope that door doesn’t open again anytime soon. Let’s pray for a very happy, healthy, successful, and prosperous new year! God is good to listen and respond according to our needs and His plan. 😉 Blessings to you, my dear friend always!! XOXO PS: Thanks for hanging with me this year! 😉

    1. We are lucky there is no traffic here. We only have to drive a few miles so hopefully we will be home before the drunk drivers are out. Thank you for the support on my books. I appreciate the cheering. I will also pray for you to have a happy healthy and prosperous new year. XO

  4. I would love to read children’s books that you’ve written! Though I didn’t choose it as the one I shared for that fill-in, one of my 2018 goals is also to finish some little stories I’ve started and self-publish them. I am wishing you a happy and blessed 2018 with no heartbreaks.

P.S. We are wishing you the best of luck with your gremlin, Joanie! Just don’t feed it after midnight, and certainly don’t get it wet!

    1. You are so lucky to be a good illustrator and writer. I am sure you will have no trouble getting published. A Happy and Healthy 2018 to you and your family too! XO

  5. That is exciting that you have written some books. Good for you. It is so so sad when we lose our fur babies. We sure wish all of you a very Happy New Year.

  6. Going out early on New Year’s Eve is a great idea. Seems like you have had more than your share of sadness this year. Wishing you nothing but blessings for the new year!
PS–I have good bit of self-publishing experience, so if you run into questions/problems with that book, just give me a shout!

    1. Thank you for the offer to ask you questions, I may do that. I wish you and the kitties a happy and healthy 2018! XO

  7. I don’t like the heart broken one. I know this pain and it’s not fun.

    Chinese food sounds very good.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday. ♥

  8. I am excited about your #2! Joanie that Gremlin is going to give you a run for your money… er, snacks from Grammie. Hope your 2018 is without any heart breaks.

On New Year’s Eve we stay home and fall asleep.
One goal I have for 2018 is to pick up my big girl camera and take more pictures.
In 2017, I accomplished the art of frying up the perfect egg sandwich… 😉
I found that Facebook wore me out in 2017.

    1. Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. You should start blogging again and share the photos you take. 🙂 I am not a fan of Facebook, my posts go there daily, but I only go on about twice a week to wish people Happy Birthday. Have a wonderful New Year! XO

  9. I am so sorry about your losses. ~hugs~ I can relate, though my mother had suffered long enough. In a stupid twist, one of my guppies gave up the ghost this month. Granted, she was really old. But to find her belly up at the bottom of the tank on Christmas Eve? That’s like adding insult to injury. ~sigh~ Hope 2018 brings health, prosperity, and joy to us all!

    1. Thank you. Nellie left everyone with a big hole in their heart, she was a sweetie. XO and love to you.

  12. Going out to dinner early is my favourite thing to do on New Year’s Eve! I would love to read your book if you write one. That sounds like fun. And I’m so sorry about Snowball and Phoebe. That is heartbreaking 🙁

Have great new year and thanks for helping to set the fill in questions.
