We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays.
Friday is posing with one of the books that I am currently reading.
I know nothing about anything financial so I figured now is a good time to start learning. How To Make Money In Any Market by Jim Cramer is an easy-to-understand guide to start investing. I am planning to use the website, Robinhood to invest in something once I finish the book and do some more research. Nothing big, probably going to start with $50.
Rosie will be here tomorrow with the latest.

A wise undertaking for sure! XO
Yes, it is. 🙂 XO
Never too late to learn about these kinds of things.
My brother started investing in juniot high with penny stocks with others in his class, not sure what the learning subject was…anyways he got so interested in that that he became an accountant…and later took that up a notch to deal with financial stuff for the bank he worked for.
I wish my school had taught us those things. XO
Well good luck to you!! David is “Mr. Conservative” – we have our $$ in the hands of a financial planner and they do all of the hard stuff while we reap the benefits. Neither David nor I are “financial smart” at this point in our lives BUT we’re grateful for the results we have from our long-time experts. Happy Monday!!!
Hugs, Pam
Thank you. 🙂 Glad you have a good financial planner. We had a good one, but she moved into dealing with folks with a lot more money. XO
It’s never too late to start learning. My hubby plays the stock market, and he’s good at it. Back in the day, I owned my own business and learned a lot about finances from the experience.
Glad your hubby is good at it. My hubby invested in mutual funds and does ok, but with the rising cost of things, I want to try stocks. XO
How to make money. Well, I guess I need some green paper and a magic marker. Otherwise, all I ever
knew was to hold down a yucky job and get a pay check, lol.
MOL! 🙂 XO
I was forced to do the penny stocks in first year of high school and in one of my curses in college. I didn’t like it then, and still don’t. Not my thing. My middle son, the one who was here to visit for a week very recently, is darned good at it.
I wish my school had done something like that. XO
Friday I look forward to Mom’s review of this most imPAWtent book
Hugs to you and all your loved ones
Cecilia
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Mom is not very well educated about Stocks.
Me either, but this book is easy to understand. XO
Chaplin: “Wait, we can’t get money just for being furry and adorable?”
Charlee: “Well, I mean, WE probably can. But the humans not so much.”
Exactly. Only works for kitties and pups. XO
Friday ~ glad to see you are learning with Mom ~ Hugs ^_^

Thank you. 🙂 Double paw kisses. XO
Oooh, hope you share any sage advice. Sounds especially interesting! Good luck.
I will. Thank you. 🙂
Friday on a Monday! Jerry is a fan of Jim Cramer and watches him on TV. Jerry does not like to read books… can you imagine? Never too late to invest! Ellen, best of luck… go for it!
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Sounds like a good book to read before investing. Cute photo.
I hope so. Thank you. 🙂
Sounds like a very informative book! I’m on a similar journey – I was completely clueless about the stock market but wanted to learn. I opened a Fidelity brokerage account last summer and have been doing lots of online research. So far, so good! (Knock on wood…)
It is a great book. The guy has a tv show on CNBC too called Mad Money. I am glad you are doing well. XO
What a wise read. 😀 Be well, my dear.
Thank you. 🙂 I hope you are well too. XO
Good for you! Be a lifelong learner and a lifelong investor.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Qualcomm is not cheap, but one share will go up eventually…it always goes up and down but it’s going up we feel..
Thank you for the tip. XO
Investing is a good idea. We didn’t start soon enough and we’ve had a number of obstacles through at us over the years, other than a poor stock market, depleting our funds. I’m hanging on to hope that we’ll win the lottery! 😀
Yes, the lottery would be nice. XO
