Throwback Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! Today, for Brian’s Thankful Thursday, I am going to show some photos of my Angel kitties from Christmas past. I am thankful for all the cats that I have had the honor of sharing my life with, these photos are just the 5 who have left us since I started blogging.

First though, Prancie has her poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day to go with this photo.

Loud booming noises
I am told they are pretty

  1. I don’t know how long you’ve been both blogging, but that is a lot of loss. I’m glad you’ve had so much love going on, and sorry that they have passed on. Good memories, I hope.

    1. Only 3 and a half years, it is a lot of loss. 🙁 Wonderful memories of all though.

  2. It was a treasure to see your Angel Kitties. I am so sorry they have left you. But I am very happy they found you because I know how much they were loved and respected to the very end. All kitties deserve a life like that. I can see where Phoebe would be concerned that her stocking was big enough and I can’t blame her! So true about fireworks and under the bed… I am a people and I want to hide under the bed when they go off!

    1. Thank you, they are all missed and forever loved. I do not like fireworks either. XO

  3. Such lovely cats, they added much joy to your home, it’s obvious. May their memories bring only comfort.

    Loved the poem!

  4. Awwww… Hugs to you and yours, my dear.

For some reason, I can’t resist these fill-ins (probably because it brings to mind my writing!).
    1. On New Year’s Eve, I used to drag my partner to comedy clubs and follow ringing in the New Year with a sinful breakfast buffet.
    2. One goal I have for 2018 is to keep writing every day.
    3. In 2017, I accomplished a lot toward improving my short story series.
    4. I never before wrote so much in twelve months as I did in 2017.

    1. I am glad you like the fill-ins, thank you for your answers. It sounds like you had some fun New Year’s Eves. Excellent goal and I am sure you will do it. Congrats on all your writing in 2017 🙂

  5. What a wonderful family, and even though past, they are still travelling that journey with you… and that is such a good thing to be thankful for….
No those loud booming noises and bright flashing lights would be better under the bed than me being under the bed, alas that will never happen.

  13. We had the same theme for our poem. So many losses. It makes us very sad. All the photos are great, but those with Phoebe and Snowball are extra special. We pray that your little kitty family will not experience any losses in 2018. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
