  1. 1. I’d like to learn how to play the piano and organ.
    2. Something I tried to make that was an epic fail was a statue of Liberty replica, in miniature for a project….
3.My older son wanted to design sport cars in Germany for a career, but he now designs software and computer programs.
    4. ‘Advocaat’ served with whipped cream, (a pudding like Dutch alcoholic egg concoction, is a special treat I used to get when I still lived in Canada for special occasions and holidays)…eggnog is NOT anything like it!. Nor are the results of recipes to make it here. To buy it here, I would first have to drive about 70 miles…so now it has become VERY special when I go to visit my sister or brother, LOL!!

I think that watermelon cake would be refreshing!
I hope Mr Smurf wasn’t conjuring up mischief with Joanie and Prancie. (Like in the Oceanside Blog…)

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I am sure you could learn the piano and organ. Your son must like doing that. Never heard of that treat. XO

  2. Oh, what a cake!!! mama cannot imagine making a Barbie cake with any success..Round or sqare or rolled is all she can manage, haha.

  3. That’s a great idea to have a craft room set up for projects! You are so creative and I know the kids just love coming to visit their Auntie! That watermelon cake sounds yummy – do you get it at Friendlys or the grocery???

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

    1. Thank you. 🙂 The cake is at our local grocery store. Any store that sells Friendly’s ice cream should have it. Xo

  4. Sweet pics of Angels Joanie and Prancie. That’s a great idea to set up a play/craft room for the kids. I think creativity runs in your family.

  5. I did my fill-ins ( somewhat incorrectly) at Teddy’s house.

SUPER idea about your spare room. I hope you make it happen. So do a few of the cats, probably.

    1. I saw them. 🙂 Thank you. 🙂 I think the cats will be mad because it is a cat hangout right now to get away from kids. XO

  6. I play mahjongg twice a week. It’s challenging and fun. I’ll have to look into that watermelon cake. I love anything watermelon.

    1. I hope to learn soon. I am trying to get my friend that runs the senior center to get a group going. The cake is sooo good.

    2. Something I tried to make that was an epic fail was macaroni and cheese.
    3. I want to design nothing for the simple reason that I’m not crafty.
    4. Pumpkin anything is a special treat I get every fall.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-Ins.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 At least it tasted good. Thank you for these great answers. I bake my potatoes in the microwave then peel them for potato salad so it doesn’t get watery. Are Rim Tams cookies or crackers? Have a nice weekend. XO

  12. the kids are going to totally enjoy the craft room…epic failed at making weezer an apple pie once. thought I had flour for the crust…didn’t…used powdered sugar instead…being the nice person
weezer was, she said it was the best pie she’d ever had…..yea, right ‼️‼️‼️💚

  13. What a sweet memory. Your cake made me spit my iced coffee out! The poor dear looks like she got drunk and fell in the cake LOL!!! (But if I tried it it would be 10,000 times worse!)

  14. I hope you are able to get the spare room the way you want it.

Angels Prancie and Joanie look like they are being very patient with the smurf. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!

  15. I cracked up when I saw your Barbie cake, but I know it is so much better than I could ever do! That is a precious photo of your angels, Joanie and Prance. I also would like to learn to play Mahjong. Good luck with your craft room. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid & Sawyer, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Kizmet, Audrey, Raleigh, Gibbs & Tali

  16. Even though the doll cake didn’t turn as hoped, I know your niece loved it anyhow. You deserve a round of applause just for trying. I don’t think I could do it. I love watching people decorate cakes and cookies on TV shows. It takes patience and skill.

  17. Charlee: “Hey, that Barbie cake doesn’t seem like that epic of a fail! She probably just tripped over her dress like Jennifer Lawrence at the Oscars!”
Chaplin: “You’re lucky you got a visit from a regular smurf and not Producer Smurf. He is always ordering us around and trying to get us to appear in his stupid films without even giving us treats to do it.”
