  1. Yea, Prancie! Lookin’ good, young lady!
On Black Friday, we celebrate Chloe Jo & Grizelda. Mostly Chloe Jo because she insists and Grizelda hates fuss!
Ellen, your answers are so heartfelt. We need more people like you in the world. Thank you for being part of my journey. You are appreciated. HUGS.

    1. Prancie thanks you. That is a nice way to celebrate Black Friday. Thank you for the sweet words and for being part of my journey. XO

  2. Prancie is a pretty kitty. I’m glad she’s feeling better.

Thanksgiving is the best! It has always been my favorite holiday. All the good stuff and none of the bad…well, unless you’re the turkey, then things don’t turn out so well. I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Christmas, and open house, too. 🙂

Please tell your niece I said happy birthday. 🙂 Have a blessed weekend.

    1. Thank you for the birthday wishes for the great one 🙂 I always eat too much. Hope you have a nice weekend.

  3. It’s great that Prancie is feeling perky enough for photos! She looks happy. November is a fun month with Thanksgiving and shopping for Christmas and just that excitement in the air that there will be family around and so much to do. I try to keep peace in my life every day too – I’ve always been a “peacemaker” in my family and even at work – I don’t like conflict EVER.

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

  4. Ellen,

I just can’t believe it’s November so soon. Wasn’t it just yesterday we were celebrating Thanksgiving? I’m sure it was! Anywho…glad to see Prancie felt well enough for a photo session. 🙂 I don’t like when folks argue, either. It’s disturbing. Thanks for hosting the Friday fun. Have a good weekend, dearie!

  5. Birthdays and hosting dinners and an open house! You are going to be one busy, and i pray joyful and happy, lady this holiday season.

  6. Oh Prancie, so good to see you and sure hope you are improving.Love you fill-in answers. Our Mom loves peace and quiet. You all have a great week end.

  7. I just love festive fill-ins like these. Your holiday plans sound like they will be so wonderful. I cannot wait for Thanksgiving and of course Christmas, and for all of the festivities that come with them.

I am so glad that Prancie is doing well. What a beautiful girl she is! Purrs and prayers!

  8. Hiya Prancie! Looking good, kiddoThat’s an ambitious holiday schedule but sounds like loads of fun. We sure do love turkey at our house.

  9. I’m so glad that Prancie is feeling better. Great news.

I too hate to see people argue and often they are arguing over nothing.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday. ♥

  10. YAY for Prancie!!! She’s beautiful.
It makes me feel better to know that I’m not the only one sensitive to my surroundings. I HATE conflict and I’ll withdraw into myself when I’m around it. I also tend to withdraw instead of argue myself. That sensitivity is probably the same reason we can’t tolerate animals that are hurting or suffering. Most people would consider that sensitivity a gift … but it doesn’t always feel that way – especially when we feel the animal’s feelings as our own.

        Siddhartha Henry =^,.^=

        1. We are thankful that you and your mum will always be our family.
Prancie is good ( knock on wood 3 times ). XO

  12. A holiday open house sounds wonderful! We love staying up all night and going Black Friday shopping at 4:00a.m. Having stores open on Thanksgiving has spoiled some of that excitement so I hope more stay closed on the holiday.

  13. You are industrious over the holidays! Bad me, I have zero plans. Days of running around to family dinners and hauling gifts across the region are in the past.

  14. Prancie, it’s so good to see you! You look well! We’re still sending purrs for you to keep feeling better!

We’re looking forward to Thanksgiving too! Yum!

  15. It is so nice to see Prancie… makes me smile! Thanksgiving is my most favorite holiday. It is a peaceful quiet holiday without all the hoopla… 🙂 And homemade noodles! A holiday open house… how fun!

      1. Homemade noodles are a tradition in CH’s family. They take the place of the gravy. I never had homemade noodles until I had my first Thanksgiving with CH’s family. The are delicious over the mashed potatoes… 🙂

  16. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before we know it, and Mom needs to get some enthusiasm. We know she has ordered a gift for us, ’cause Lily sits on her lap all the time, and she saw her order it. We hope the holidays live up to all your expectations. “Hi,” to Prancie. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  17. Prancie is absolutely gorgeous – I’ve always wanted a ginger cat but one hasn’t decided to enter my life yet. I can’t believe you go shopping on black Friday – as someone who doesn’t like crowds, that would be my worst nightmare. I hope you enjoy it. Have a great day.

    1. Thank you. Prancie appeared at our door on a very cold night in 2005, we are blessed to have her choose us. I don’t like crowds, but by the time we shop, there are no crowds. I hope you had a great day too.

  18. Looking good Prancie! Glad to see you’re feeling better.

I admire your fortitude in going out on Black Friday. I never seem to have the energy to face the crowds. (Of course, I work overnight at Walmart so I’d miss the good stuff anyway.)
