Hi everyone! We are participating in the Blog4Peace again this year. Instead of making a new globe, I have decided to use last year’s with Phoebe and Brody. Now if I could only get Sammy and Brody to be able to sit that close.

 

We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop and Ten Things of Thankful.

Here are my ten thankfuls:

  1. Baseball season is over- I have nothing against the sport except that it is on almost EVERY day. And those men spit way too much.
  2. The Orville already got renewed for season 2. If you haven’t seen it yet, it is on Fox Thursday night, sort of like the original Star Trek.
  3. I found a great website with all kinds of free printables to help organize everything- from cleaning schedules, party planning, gift shopping, etc. It is called Iheartorganizing.
  4. Emmy sat near me and let me pet her.
  5. I got to see the great one in her Halloween costume, she had quite a few relatives that came to see her. I am glad she is so loved, if all kids were that loved, we would have a world of peace.
  6. I am going to the great one’s 2nd birthday party today- the theme is Teletubbies 🙂
  7. My toe is officially fine and I don’t have to go back to the podiatrist. I had a procedure done a month ago that makes that side of the nail never grow back- and it worked.
  8. Prancie continues to do well ( this should be #1, but I am too lazy to switch it). Thank you all for the purrs and prayers.
  9. I have a new Nic Cage movie to watch tonight.
  10. Chewy sent us a Halloween gift.. I am a ChewyInfluencer and it is so nice to be appreciated. I worked for the local school system for 13 years and was never shown appreciation.

  4. WOWZERS! What a great list of thankfuls! I hope The Great One’s teletubby birthday party today is tons of fun – are you going to dress up like a teletubby?? If so, make sure and take photos (Mom says!). We’re thankful Prancie is alright too AND that Emmy let you pet her – YAY! Here’s to a THANKFUL and PEACEFUL Saturday.

  5. A very happy list, i’m so glad that Emmy is warming up to you (among all the other things). She won’t understand it, but please wish The Great One many happy returns of the day from me.

  6. It is fun seeing last year’s globe with Phoebe and Brody. Good news about Emmy getting more friendly. That is always fun when they start to trust you.

  7. I love that you used Phoebe and Brody’s peace globe. Hopefully soon Sammy and Brody will know that same peace. As always, I really enjoy reading your Ten Things of Thankful. I keep meaning to do this myself, as it is such a wonderful practice in gratitude. Purrs and peace to all of you!

  12. We just got our Halloween gifts from Chewy and Mommy thought it was too late to pose with them. I’m going to tell her she was WRONG! But.. um… she already ate some of the candy! Don’t tell her I told you. P.s. Mommy also hates when the players spit because it makes her gag.

  19. Oh do I agree with #1 on your thankful list. Geez what is up with it. I suppose all are still chewing tobacco like they did when I was a girl and my dad watched it all the time. Somebody needs to REMIND them impressionable young minds are watching them and to quit with the chewing and spitting.

    But you always have such interesting things to be thankful for.
    Today I am thankful that my husband finished some electrical work in our basement and didn’t blow anything up. Shhhh….(I’m also thankful that he doesn’t read your blog!)

  34. Glad to hear that about The Orville. My hubby and I watch the show and were surprised at how “deep” some of the episodes are that deal with social issues. Definitely wasn’t expecting that from MacFarlane. I will have to check out that organizing site.
