Hi everyone! Today is Chewy day and this month we had the pleasure of sampling Fancy Feast which is always a hit.

*Disclaimer: We were given a case of 24 Fancy Feast Classic Poultry and Beef Variety Pack Canned Cat Food in exchange for a fair review and spreading the word about Chewy. All opinions are our own.

I wanted this mainly for Snowball because of her lack of teeth.

She loved it! So did Jinx and Penny and Millie too! 

I didn’t test it on everyone though because some only like the kind with gravy. It was a hit on all who did test it though.

  1. Good review, gang. It sounds like those FFs were a hit with the cats who tried them. We can definitely understand about cats who only like the ones with gravy. Our angel Graphite was like that! 🙂

  3. We love Fancy Feasties, especially Ocean whitefish & tuna! But it’s quite expensive here so We only get it at weekends, festivals and special days such as birthdays and Gotcha Day anniversaries. Fortunately, We have quite a lot of those (mol).

  4. I am so glad that this food was a hit for all the kitties who tried it. Yummy! What else is yummy? That pickle, obviously! You are so creative with your A to Z Challenge topics. I always look forward to seeing what you create each day.

  8. Angel Sammy LOVED Fancy Feast……and I always added a bit of water because he loved his food soupy. Teddy has little interest in wet food – his favorite “food” isn’t really a food – it’s a treat – good old Temptations Tuna! HAHA We love that pickle……looks delicious!

    1. Canned food is better for moisture so you may want to give them a little every day.

  13. Fancy Feast has been around for years and years. When I had kitties in the 80s they ate Fancy Feast. I also love Chewy. They have great public service.

  16. Did you know that Chewy.com was just purchased by PetSmart? I dislike PetSmart, so I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Joanie’s spit on that first pickle would have been okay with us! No need to be embarrassed, sweet kitty!

    1. Yes, I was disappointed because I am not a fan of PetSmart either, I like Petco. Joanie is keeping this pickle and I made a new one for the giveaway. 🙂

      1. Pawppy told that unsettling mews to petcretary also. He thought that it was going to be kept as a separate entity for now at least. Sure hope that it won’t have negative effects on the wonderful service and other things that Chewy was known for.

  22. WE like the Fancy Feasts but do not eat them as a main meal–more as a dessert or treat, or when we play finnicky with our normal food to try and get something tastier!.

  25. We’re glad it was a hit. We like gravies too. But we don’t get da FF here. Maybe someday. Can you believe Raena’s never had anythin’ commonly refurred to as kitty junk? MOL Big hugs fur all.

  32. Ms. S uses Fancy Feast for Kiki, i’ll have to let her know she can order it instead of schlepping it home from the market.

  34. My cats enjoyed Fancy Feast for many years and then they started leaving too much of it in their bowls. So I’ve switched to Whiskas. Perhaps they didn’t like certain flavours. I should try Fancy Feast again and see what happens.

  36. So glad you found a food that was a hit with so many of the kitties. The boys are not happy with their “usual”. There seems to be a formula change so I am going to have to be searching for something new for them (sigh)

  37. FF was yummy here for Minko….for a while, then he rejected it outright. Silly kitty. Pipo loves it though! he enjoys most any rejected noms that Minko leaves:)

  38. Ellen, pickle, that’s a good one. I love pickles! Yum, dill pickles! Every time, we have burgers or a sandwich I put pickles on the side. DH always saves me some of his because he knows how much I like pickles. 😀 I remember one time as a kid, my girlfriend and I ate a whole jar of pickles. I felt horrible afterwards, too. I guess eating that many isn’t a good idea, huh?
