Caturday Saturday

Hi everyone! We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop and The Pet Parade

I used Lunapic once again, the fairy effect to change Sammy’s corn photo into a work of art. Some of you thought Sammy liked the corn for the butter, but my hubby and I don’t use butter on corn ( about the only healthy thing we do). We figure good corn requires nothing.

The art effect makes it look like there is butter on it though 🙂

There is a puzzle below. But, first I want to announce the winners ( there were 2) in Emmy’s contest. She currently has 29 toys in her stash. Sandee of Comedy Plus and Vicky at Eastside Cats both came the closest with 31. Congratulations!

  1. Such a cute picture of Sammy, and the art effect worked out really well! Happy Caturday to all! XO

  2. Concats to the smart guessers!!

That is a great art work!

  3. I have been hungry for peaches and cream corn on the cob since I first laid eyes on this picture with Sammy! Hope we can have some corn this weekend. None of our cats were interested in corn and I was a bit surprised because they ate pretty much what we ate as a treat. They loved spaghetti and meatballs! The fairy effect is very nice!

  4. I like butter on my corn on the cob. Lots of butter. I can eat it without butter too.

Oh boy on the win. Thank you for the giveaway.

Have a fabulous weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  5. Have sent you an email!
Sammy, I LURV corn on the cob, but The Hubby tries to limit the amount we eat, since it’s sugary and we are both being very careful about our blood sugar levels, even when from fruit or veggies. I’d also eat mounds and mounds of watermelon!
    Off to puzzle!

  6. Mmm, we love corn, too! Sammy, we love this artwork of you. Concats to Sandee and Vicky! 🙂

  7. ONLY YOU…would think of turning Sammy’s Corn Cob picture into a work of art. Now THAT’s truly original! Happy Cat-ur-day to you all.

  8. Great artwork of a cool photo. Thanks for the puzzle!!

  10. That is some very nice Caturday Art.

Mom says she couldn’t eat corn without lots of real butter and salt:)

  11. I thought it had lots of butter. Kibble contains corn so it isn’t far fetched. Nice art although TW took forever on the puzzle.

  12. Sammy looks fab in that art. It looks like one of those collector plates. Love it! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  13. What a delish piece of artwork for this weekend! Mom and dad just lovvvvvve fresh corn on the cob, and mom says she wishes they could eat it all year round. Of course, dad grew up eating the stuff slathered and dripping with melty butter and sprinkled (heavily) with salt, but mom, ever vigilant in changing dad’s eating habits over the years, has taught dad to enjoy it with absolutely NOTHING on it, if you can believe that. He’s even learned to enjoy corn on the cob cold, and when they cook it these days they usually do several meals’ worth at a time so they can enjoy it fresh and then again cold for several days on.

  14. OH noes…now I’m hungry for corn on the cob. Al my kitties have liked it too…but Katie said she didn’t think it was for her.

  15. That is an adorable picture of you – but now, Mummy has an inexplicable craving for corn, preferably slathered with loads of butter!

  16. My, goodness! She does love her toys.

You are right that good summer sweet corn needs nothing to make it better.

  17. Mee-yow Miss Ellen you did a great job with Lunapick. LadyMew nevurr quite getss it rite!!
