Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1.  I need a haircut and a pedicure. Desperately!
2. One nice thing about staying home is being with my cats 24/7.
3. A cat’s purr instantly makes my day better.
4. When someone disagrees with me, I usually agree to disagree unless it has to do with cats. For example, if someone were for declawing a cat I would have no problem telling that person he/she is an idiot.

  2. Oh, dear…I forgot all about straw hat day…too much working…it was very busy there..
    1. I I need a haircut as well and I could use a new wardrobe…but there’s no funds for that right now…hubby is on unemployment at this time…sigh…
    2. One nice thing about staying home is speniding more time out in the uyard and with the furry ones.
    3. Good (classical) music instantly makes my day better.
    4. When someone disagrees with me, I try not to get too discombobulated and try to figure out how to make a compromise if need be…or to see the issue from the other point of view…but it IS hard to not get all upset, isn’t it!.And sometimes the s=best is to walk away, or to agree to disagree, though somehow that doesn’t solve very much…

    I was lucky that I had my hair cut 2 days before lockdown so it is not too bad yet.
    It is getting a bit wispy around the edges, but if we get humid weather I will look like a Brillo pad!

  6. Gosh I just love the straw hats! I refuse to wear ANYTHING longer than about half a second but looks like you have better luck there. We love your filling in today especially the one about telling someone who is declawing their cat that they are an idiot – it’s inhumane for sure. Mom says she agrees with you about haircuts – she’s desperate too!!

  9. Angels Phoebe and Prancie wear those straw hats very well! I want a hair cut as soon as possible! I feel pretty strongly about not declawing and neutering. My Fill-Ins-
    1. I love a Grouper sandwich and a piece of Key Lime Pie from Turtles on Little Sarasota Bay.
    2. One thing about staying home is not having to deal with people and situations that wear me out.
    3. Watching the kittens on Kitkat Playroom instantly makes my day better.
    4. When someone disagrees with me, I agree to disagree. If it is something that is fundamental to my beliefs or how I live my life it could change my relationship with that person. This is a very complicated Fill-In!

    1. In case I wasn’t clear, I am an advocate of neutering.

  10. I didn’t even think about haircut and nail salon. I did my nails the other day. Not well, but at least they won’t break now. I also cut the sides of my hair and around my ears. It will do for the time being.

    That last question is a hard one. Everyone seems so quick to get into other folks’ business. I don’t want to be one of those people.

    So good to see your two angels. They are so precious.

  11. A friend of mine recently complimented a lady’s homemade masks with hearts on it.
    The lady said thank you ….she had to do something to distract EYES from her hair.

    We tried to do a post of the Fill Ins last night but were too tired from being outside. However, we did finally get them done them are present them here:

    1.  TYEBE… I ….LOVE a MYSTERY …_and a…..HARROWING STORY.
    2.  MOM… One nice thing about staying home is….I DON”T HAVE TO DRESS FOR SEEING OTHERS.

  33. Fantastic fill-ins! One good thing about not regularly getting my hair cut, and actually not enjoying manicures or pedicures, is that I’m not bothered by these businesses being closed down. I’m almost ashamed to admit it, but I haven’t had a haircut since October of 2018. I got it cut really short back then in order to donate my hair for a wig for a cancer patient, and it’s just now decently long again. I never style my hair, but rather only ever throw it up into a bun. That’s why its length isn’t a big deal to me, and why I never get regular haircuts. Also, I completely agree with your #4! I would also being willing to argue with someone who is pro-declaw. And I love your angels’ straw hat flashbacks! How precious!
