Awww….Monday

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Monday.

Joanie and Gremmie are posing with the books I am currently reading.

I am just about to start, The Wisdom of Morrie by Morrie Scwartz. I am also just starting, Your Life is a Book: Craft and Publish Your Memoir by Brenda Peterson. I would love to write a memoir, although I don’t think many would want to read it as my life is not exciting. I like my life, but it isn’t exactly a great adventure.

I am almost done with Jerry Weintraub’s, When I Stop Talking, You’ll Know I’m Dead.  It is interesting as he does a lot of name dropping. He was a producer who got Elvis back on the road. If you like to know behind the scenes of Hollywood people then you will like this one.

Rosie will be here tomorrow before she goes into hiding as Joanie is expecting her two visitors for a playdate.

  1. Cute photo of Joanie and Gremmie with the books! I say, Go for it! on writing the memoir. I’d read it. XO

  2. Joanie, your mommy is up to her eyeballs in books. Lynn likes to read a lot but she could never keep up that pace. She’s lucky she can keep up the pace to take a short bike ride and then brush my fur.

  3. Joanie and Gremmie are adorable. You should write your memoir because others may find it most interesting. Happy Monday!

  4. You two are adorable and we always let us know what mom is reading.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. xo ♥

  5. Charlee: “Ooh, our Dada was just reading some novel called ‘The Chain’ but he says it was terrible so he stopped.”
Chaplin: “I guess he’ll have to find something else to read now.”
Charlee: “Yeah well with 400 books on his reader I don’t think THAT is going to be a problem …”

    1. That is a very long book. Kuddos to your mum for working through it. XO

  7. How adorable! And I agree that you should write your memoir. No doubt there are great stories you’ve rather forgotten 😀

  8. If you ever want to read a book written by a celebrity that unabasedly name drops, try Frank Langella’s “Dropped Names: Famous Men and Women As I Knew Them”
Frank has a magnificent ego, ’nuff said. It’s a fun read.

  9. Yup, it sure looks like Joanie and Gremmie are all booked up for now. I guess they want to read as much as they can before their retreat. I think that life isn’t all about excitement. Most of us are glad to be contented. Besides there is so much to explore inside yourself, as well.

  10. Joanie and Gremmie do a great job of showcasing the books you are reading. I think if you are really loving the idea of writing a memoir you should do it. Who knows where it will lead, what will happen. It would be a great gift for your family to treasure. See where it goes!
