Aww…Monday

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Monday.

Joanie and Gremmie are posing with  2 of the books I am reading. One isn’t that great, but All of Us Together in the End by Matthew Vollmer is really good and worth reading. The author writes about his mom’s ten-year decline and eventual death from Alzheimer’s. After her death, his father starts seeing lights in the woods, but they disappear whenever he tries to get a photo. The author also sees these lights when staying at his dad’s house. There is no logical explanation to them, so they believe it is his mom letting them know she is OK.  I believe that too.

Rosie will be here tomorrow and she promises she has some juicy tidbits about her siblings. And me.

    1. Please tell your mum to save her money. I will get the book from the library. It costs so much to mail things now and I truly appreciate the thought. Who is the author so I can look it up. XO

        1. Thank you. I just added it to my to-read list on Goodreads. I will see if the library has it when I get done answering comments. XO

  2. We love to read and love it that you read such amazing stories of anthros’ lives. I hope tht light is what they think…anything goes in this surprising world. Can’t wait for the gossip….

  3. I believe we all need to feel that there is something much greater than us humans waiting for us. And that if our parents that go before us could just let us know that they’re still watching over.

  4. Happy Monday and as some little “kitties” are saying this is a special day at 15 AND MEOWING we are also saying Happy Many Wonderful and Fun Years of Blogging to you, and to all the sweet kits, past and present who we’ve enjoyed over time. Congratulations!

  7. That sounds like a moving story. I’m sorry that the other book disappointed you but look forward to Rosie’s post. 😀 Best wishes and hugs, my dear.

  8. That does sound like a good read. Alzheimer’s is such a difficult disease to deal with, but it must be nice to have this happy twist of the lights in the forest.

  9. Sound like interesting books……I too believe we can get signs of those who have left us – we just have to be OPEN to seeing the signs.

    Hugs, Pam
