A-Z Theme Reveal

Hi everyone! Today is the day those of us participating in the A-Z Blogging Challenge can reveal our themes.   My sweet little Phoebe pretty much gave it away yesterday. I am going to crochet a cat toy ( 4 hats too) each day of the challenge. At the end of the month, I will have a giveaway and 2 lucky winners will split everything.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww…Mondays Blog Hop today. I am also joining It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading?

I just finished a wonderful book called Let Your Spirit Guides Speak: A Simple Guide for a Life of Purpose, Abundance and Joy by Debra Engle Landwehr. The author explains how we all have spirit guides with us throughout life and all we need to do is ask them for help. She refers to them as spirit guides, but I think of them as guardian angels as I am sure many do. There are meditation exercises to help us open up to them. I have never heard a message from mine, but I know they have saved me from countless accidents and bad choices.

Erin the Cat Princess was the only one that figured out what kind of car Sammy is making for the cardwood derby- good job Princess Erin!

  1. As a huge fan of your crocheted lovelies, I am so happy that this is your theme for the A-Z challenge! I know that I will be doing a drawing each day for the challenge, but I don’t have much planned past that. This will be my first time participating in this challenge, I can’t wait for the fun to begin! And the book you shared sounds wonderful, as I do believe in guardian angels. Purrs, and happy Monday!

    1. Thank you. I am sure you will do a great job and I look forward to your drawings.

  2. Wow, what an amazing thing to do for the challenge! That’s very cool.

Concats to Erin – my human and I never would have guessed.

  3. We most definitely have guardian angels…..and if we LISTEN to them, we will learn. I think you’ve chosen a totally FUN way to do your A-Z challenge and since you’re the crochet queen it will be EXTRA fun.

    Hugs, Pam

    1. Crochet Queen, I like the sound of that 🙂 I agree, we do need to listen because they want to help us. XO

    1. I got a head start so I will be sure to complete the challenge. I hope you had a nice day.

  4. Oh my mouses! That’s gonna be a lot of crochetin’, for sure. purrs

PS. Peep #1 had to crochet a few little chain stitch thingies for the buttons on those doll clothes she knit for WLF Rescue. They weren’t even an inch long, each. It nearly killed her. MO– USES!

    PPS. Seriously, it did.

    1. I started ahead of time to be sure I would be able to get everything done.

  5. Awww, you’re adorable Phoebe. Yes you are and it looks like your mom is going to be very busy during the A to Z Challenge. She’ll get it done and then two lucky winners get everything. Pawsome.

Have a purrfect Awww Monday. My best to your wonderful mom. ☺

  6. Adorable! We have a tuxedo cat, his name is Nosey, and I’m sure he’d love to win those toys!! I definitely will be tuning in. Great theme! #AtoZChallenge

    1. Thank you. I am glad you will be tuning in and I will be reading your posts as well.

  7. Each year I keep saying I am going to participate in that challenge and each year I don’t lol. I think I don’t have the dedication to blog every single day of the month and I sure admire all of you who do!!

  8. I always wanted to learn to crochet, but I never did. I’m just not creative. How great that you are able to do this.

    Have a great week!

    1. Thank you. If I can learn to crochet, anyone can. I hope you have a great week too!

  9. Creative theme! We know first paw how wonderful your crocheting creations are … your drumsticks are Bear’s favorite. Thank you again … it was thoughtful of you and meant so much to both of us. The book has an interesting premise. A couple times in my life, I’ve seen a person who comforted me – only to find out the person didn’t really exist (example … once in the hospital, when I was really scared, a “nurse” came in and reassured me and tucked me in … the next day, I asked about the nurse and I was told that the nurses the night before were only the regulars – no one new).

    1. Thank you and I am glad Bear Cat likes his drumsticks. It sounds like you did meet your angel.

  10. guyz…how total lee awesum oh yur mom ta make all theeze toyz for thiz challenge !! best fishes two de winnerz at de end two …what a grate prize pack age 🙂 ♥♥♥

    1. You are so sweet and thoughtful to think of others all the time my sweet purrince. I swoon when I see your photos too, you are the most handsome mancat ever.
That sounds like an interesting book- I wonder why the hand trembles? XO and paw kisses

  13. One crochet toy per day, that’s a fun challenge! I see one of your drumsticks beneath my curtain. I must go smack it.

  14. Ellen, now that’s awesome! You’re going to be a busy gal unless you already started on this. 🙂 And, how cool you’re going to have a giveaway at the end! There will be some happy kitties out in Blogosphere when they hear this mews! 😉 Thanks for stopping in to check out my theme reveal!

  15. Love this challenge and you can do it. Ask your angels and guides to help you. I’ve worked with angels and guides since childhood but have only had one visitation. It was enough to banish any doubt about their existence. I’m reading a non-cat book a publicist sent, Psychics, Healers and Mediums: A Journalist, A Road Trip and Voices From The Other Side. Very interesting..

    1. Thank you. I got a head start on the crocheting 🙂 I would love an actual visit, but for now I will have faith. That sounds like a wonderful book.

  16. Men can never have enough toys, right Phoebe 😉 Concatulations to Purrincess Erin, she is amazing! Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you and Good Luck on the challenges 🙂 <3

  17. Phoebe, you look really sweet amongst the colourful crochet toys!

We love the crochet toys your Mama sent us so we know the kitties who win them will love them too! Your Mama is kind and generous.

the critters in the cottage xo

  18. You are so creative! Crochet kitty toys are so much fun! I would love to play with all your crochet yarn & yarn balls! My auntie crochet’s, too, but mostly baby blankets. I wonder if I could learn to crochet using my claws? Mew Mew!

    1. Thank you 🙂 Surprisingly, none of my 13 cats play with the yarn. I hope your Auntie made you a blankie too.

  19. That sounds like so much fun. I look forward to seeing your crocheted creations this coming month. I’m writing fiction myself, and feel that you’re taking on a much harder challenge than me this year.

    1. Thank you. I think your challenge is more difficult. I will be sure to see what you come up with 🙂
