Wordless Wednesday

Hi everyone! Thank you all for the birthday wishes yesterday.

Noel’s needle aspirate results came back and they are inconclusive. So I still don’t know if she has cancer or not. I was gone to an appointment when the vet called so my hubby talked to her. I need to call tomorrow to find out if an x-ray would at least show what organ the tumor is coming from and go from there.

My little lush, Emmy, had her cardiologist appointment Monday. Her heart is a little worst than 9 months ago so the cardiologist added another medicine plus 1/2 of a baby aspirin twice a week. I questioned that because I have always read aspirin is bad for cats. He said daily it would be, but that amount is OK twice a week. Emmy is self medicating in the photo. 🙂

  1. Darn. Sorry that Noel’s aspirate results were not conclusive. We hope the vets can figure stuff out soon. We’re also sad that Emmy’s murmur got a little worse. Sending so much love and lots of purrs and prayers!

  2. Hopefully the vet can give you a better answer and handle on the situation when you talk to them yourself. Sending more purrs and pawyers. Noel is looking quite relaxed up there on her comfy place.

Sorry that Emmy needed more meds to help her do better. Purrs and pawyers for her, too.
Miss Ellen, with all the stress you have going on there, here is a big hug for you, too:

    ((((( ♥ )))))

  3. Hope you can get some more details on Noel when you talk to the vet……and Emmy is so hilarious in that photo! Self-medicating huh? Well it looks like it’s keeping her HAPPY anyway!

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Yes, hoping the vet will have more to say when you call. Hard to not know more about what is going on so you can form a plan, find some peace of mind. Emmy is a funny girl here 🙂 Emmy and I are taking aspirin together. I take a heart dose daily. You and the crew still have my prayers.

  5. Could it be a fatty tumor? A lipoma? And Emmy…did they say why aspirin?
    xx

    1. I was hoping it was something like that, but it definitely is not. Aspirin thins the blood to prevent clots- she has a narrowing.

    1. These things are maddening, aren’t they. Hoping you get more infor soon, and that Emmy’s new med protocol helps her.

  6. We purr that Noelle gets some clear information and she continues to feel alright. Emmy you look like you are enjoying that Nip! Way to go.

  7. I’m sorry you still don’t have an answer. Big healing hugs to these two babies.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

  8. Inconclusive?!? Darn it! Hope you get more information soon, and that’s it’s all benign. Are you giving Emmy meds twice a day, like we did to Chuck? So grateful that The Hubby found a peaceful method to pilling.

  9. I hope you will be able to find out more certain information about Noel’s condition. And I hope the med helps Emmy. Purrs to both of them xo

  10. Oh, how frustrating for you that Noel’s FNA results were inconclusive. We are still sending her lots of purrs and prayers! We’re also purring and praying for Emmy! Though, she’s clearly doing well at keeping herself dosed up. Purrs to all!

  11. So sorry to hear you didn’t get a clear answer about Noel. Keeping both Noel and Emmy in my thoughts.

  14. Well, I’m going to think positive about the inconclusive results! Hope the change in medicine helps Emmy and hope you get good conclusive results on Noel.

  15. It’s so much easier to just know what’s going on for sure, but we will hope inconclusive means good for Noel.
Glad Emmy is only a little bit worse after 9 months and that you and the vet have a plan to deal with it. I had no idea cats could take aspirin either!

  16. We’re sorry that the aspirate didn’t give more information. Hopefully, you can get some answers soon for Noel. And we hope the new medicine helps Emmy. We have heard that small doses of aspirin under vet guidance can be okay.

  17. Well that is the pits that you received inconclusive results! Hope an x-ray will show something. And sorry that Emmy’s heart condition has worsened, but she sure looks adorable in that photo.

  18. Poor little kitties. I hope they both get to feeling better soon. They are both adorable and look like they would be great cuddles.
