Happy Friday everyone! Lucy has a book for you this week, but I have been too busy Christmas shopping, decorating and writing out cards. Speaking of cards, my snail mail ones finally came in from Walmart and I will write them out today so they can be sent out by tomorrow.
Lucy is recommending The Twelve Cats of Christmas by Kandy Radzinski. Here is the Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/Twelve-Cats-Christmas-Kandy-Radzinski/dp/0811801020. It is a cute
children’s book that is a kitty twist on the song, The Twelve Days of Christmas.
This time of year, I love to watch Christmas movies. My favorites are The Family Man ( Nic Cage at his finest) and The Family Stone. Are there any movies you have to see every year? I realize this has nothing to do with cats, but I feel you can learn a lot about someone by their favorite movies and I like to know my readers.
Here are 2 more letters to Santa: Noel didn’t want to pose with her letter, but here she is singing.
And Polar Bear:
Have a great weekend everyone and make sure you visit Phoebe on Sunday or she will feel bad.
We have tons of Christmas movies – lots of oldies that my Mom and Dad like like “White Christmas” and “Holiday Inn” …..I purrrrsonally quite like Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Family Christmas…..tee hee We’ll be visiting Phoebe on Sunday for sure!
Hugs, Sammy
Those are all good choices Sammy. Phoebe looks forward to seeing you Sunday.
The mom likes watching Christmas movies too…the old ones like Holiday Inn and White Christmas…but one of her favorites is Chevy Chase’s Christmas Vacation. 😉
That’s a good one too. I am going to have to get that from the library, I haven’t seen it in a while.
Oh yea, Christmas movies have been on here too!
🙂 Everyone loves CHristmas movies.
We can’t wait to see your card! We sent yours already 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you- I hope you have a great weekend too!
We like sitting (napping) while our humans watch Christmas movies too, though after so many years, it’s kinda boring to listen to mom recite all the dialog to Scrooged, A Christmas Story, and The Grinch! Maybe we’ll find something new this weekend and it’ll be quieter! Purrs….
Those are all great choices. Does your mom prefer the cartoon Grinch or the one with Jim Carrey. I like both, but prefer the one with people in it.
My human doesn’t have any holiday movie traditions, but she did watch the Grumpy Cat Christmas movie and Nine Lives of Christmas on the Hallmark Channel this year.
I liked Grumpy cat and I dvred the other, but haven’t watched it yet.
My mum likes to watch the Christmas movies. It’s the only time she watches much TV. She says anything with Nicholas Cage in is good.
ANother Nic Cage lover- your mum is my kind of person.
We have nothing Christmas in our house or on our TV yet because our Mommy is so far behind! Hope Santa isn’t late when he brings us our presents!
I am sure Santa won’t be late.
I love The Grinch (what does that say!?!?) and Scott never misses “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
I love the Grinch too and I have seen It’s a Wonderful Life a bunch of times and love it, but it makes me too sad so now I don’t watch it.
We like the classic Christmas movies: It’s a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street, and The Bishop’s Wife.
Noel, what song were you singing?
Noel was songing Noel, Noel 🙂 I have never seen The Bishop’s Wife, I will have to check that out if the library has it.
A Christmas Story is my ALL TIME FAVE! I watch it every year!
That is a good one, I usually end up seeing it every year too. I like how one channel runs it 24 hours staight.
Mommy’s favowit Christmas show wuz da little dwummer boy. It’s also hers favowit song. But these days hers not watch much Christmas shuffs.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Lexi
I haven’t seen that one in years, but it is good and I love the song too 🙂
