Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. My favorite Easter (or Passover) treat is a cake my local grocery store carries that is a yellow cake with white frosting and strawberries. It is not technically an Easter cake, but my mom is getting me one for Easter.
2. My life would be different without my niece’s kids. I can’t even imagine a time without them anymore. They make life fun and interesting.
3. If I could, I would give an Easter basket full of money to someone in need.
4. Is it weird that I prefer the company of cats over most humans?

Today is C day on The A-Z Blogging Challenge . C is for cats and for calico. I have never had a regular calico, but I have had 2 dilute calicos. My angels, Lucy (the first) and Joanie.
This is a rare photo of them together in September 2014.

    Sammy was a good sport at ‘dressing up for various special days.
    Cats are good company, they love unconditionally,and are fun to have around

    1. My favorite Easter ( or Passover) treat is Hot Crossed Bun. Well slathered with butter!
    2. My life would be different without our dogs and the 6 siamese cats we had over the years.They have given us much fun and pleasure and we enjoyed the love they give/gave us too.
    3. If I could, I would give an Easter basket full of healing remedies to my friend suffering with all the bad chemo reactions.
    4. Is it weird that I prefer classical music, almost exclusively?

  5. My mother used to make white cake with white icing and in between the two layers were slices of bananas and strawberries. It was always a favorite and couldn’t wait until it was strawberry season. Love seeing the sweet calicos.

  13. We have a similar cake for Easter. It seems like the beginning of strawberry season although wee won’t see local ones for another 6 weeks or so.

  25. What a great Cat Daddy and no, preferring cats over humans is automatic sometimes, especially if they reside in the destroyed White House. Love the little crossed paws and dreamy eyes….on the kitty, not her daddy.
