Happy Tuesday everyone! Today we have some GoPets Best Dog and Cat Nail Clippers to review which seemed appropriate for Toesday Tuesday. GoPets sent these to us and only asked we add a link to the blog for them. I like their products so much that I wanted to review them to spread the word of how great they are.
Most of my cats are cooperative with nail clippings aside from some meowing, trying to bite my hand and attempting to wiggle away. Spooky was in need of a trim.
These were so easy to use and I like that there is a space in them. The other clippers I have, have a hole to put the nail through which is a bit of a challenge. I trim the nails of my friend’s cat and twice she has had one growing into the pad so it is impossible to use that pair. I hope she never has that problem again, but if she does, these will make it easier to deal with.
After ( sorry the photos are blurry, it is hard to take a photo, hold a cat and push the nail).
There is still time to get them for Christmas, here is their link:

Now that my cats nails are all set, I am off to get a pedicure with my Mom. I am getting glittery red Madi π

I’ve always fount this scissor style to work best for both cats and dogs. Sometimes I use human nail clippers on the cats but only when their claws are thin. Thicker claws need more cutting power.
I don’t think I would be able to manage human ones on a cat, I love these π
Yup, meowmy uses a toenail clipper fur peeps on us:))
MOL!
Dog-guy needs heavy duty one…and he is a big struggler, even though this job has been done since he was a mere 7 weeks old…
Sorry to know yet another fur went to the R.B.
Very sad to see another kitty go to the bridge.
Ack, NO. No claw nippers… EEK…
Sorry to scare you.
I get mani-pedis before each cat show, so my claws are always nicely groomed!
I bet you don’t even mind , you are so sweet π
It’s impawtant to have a nail trimmer you TRUST isn’t it……Mom and Dad keep mine trimmed as I’m having old age issues with retracting my claws so often get stuck on things….so Mom and Dad are trimming me very regularly and often. Thanks for telling us about this one!
Hugs, Sammy
I am glad your folks are so good about keeping your nails trimmed so you don’t get snagged on anything and get hurt. XO
I am lucky i can do the girls nails with nail clippers..but i lose count with four kitties on how many have been done on which on which foot as they take off …bwahahaha does my little head in! π loves Fozziemum xx
Try keeping track of 14 sets of nails π
I have a nail trimmer just like this for my pup Astrid, and it sure works like a charm. My kitties have a bit smaller trimmers, primarily because my Thimble has such small paws and claws that I have to use a more or less miniature pair in order to get hers done. Great review, as always! Purrs!
Thank you, I am glad you like the review π
Joanieβs toesies are so cute! I have a similar nail trimmer which I use from time to time – trying to trim my cat’s nails is a real challenge, so I only do it on special occasions π
I agree it is quite the challenge and I have the scars to prove it π
It feels so wonderful after getting a pawdicure!
Yes, it does. π
My mum uses her own nail clippers on me but she only tips the ends of my claws. Before I was ill I never needed my claws trimmed because I kept them short when I was going for my walks. Now I don’t get out as much they grow more.
That is good that your Mum takes care of them for you.
Oh ha. Claw Clipping. One of my favorite activities if I need a sick leave for the next day. Tessa is doable, Kajsa… well. Every single claw is a bloody battle.
Kajsa sounds challenging. I have one that needs to get it done at the vet and they put a cone on her- it is covered in teeth marks.
I should get something like that for her! I don’t clip her claws now, but I control every week whether she manages to take care of them herself. So far, her claws have been fine and not too long, so I’m hoping for the best.
Your kitties will probably be fine, usually older ones have trouble retracting them though so they need help.
Great job on the claw trimming thing! We think that darn Bridge needs to give it a rest.
I agree, the Bridge needs to take a break.
guys….we wood all most….N thatz a mega huge font sized like 90 baziilion all most, wood rather watch a bass terd burd than haz R nailz trimmed…ya noe !! π β₯β₯β₯

I love these, I actually looked forward to using them.
I guess you really hate nail trimming.
I quite like my toesies being touched but clipping the claws!!! That’s another matter!!
The bus to Rainbow Bridge has been very busy lately :'(
You have lovely toesies Austin. That bus to the bridge needs to stop.
I still pawnicure my claws myself…*mumbles: Lucky me*
Another furry…unbelievable how many pass away the last weeks. Too sad π
Pawkisses <3 <3
That is good you take care of your own nails. Very sad to lose another kitty in the blogosphere this week. Pawkisses to you.
A MANICURE IS NOT MY FAVORITE THING ON EARTH..BECA– USE I HAVE TO BE HELD LIKE A BABY AND I’M NOT A BABY BUT AT LEAST MOM IS QUICK
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
That is good your Mom is quick π
I don’t mind mom cutting my nails – she’s been doing it since I was a kitten. But BobbieSue & Simon have never had their nails trimmed and she won’t touch LadyBirds’. She leaves it to the professionals!
I thought LadyBrid would be sweet about it. :)Penny sends kisses to you Toby.
Nail clipping is a necessity. Not too many like it. It is so important to get good clippers, too.
It is a necessity and none of mine like it.
Good to know that you like that style of clippers.
They look easy to use.
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
They are very easy to use.
I’ve never attempted to clips a cat’s nails…gulp.
I am sure you could handle sweet Miss Mudpie’s nails.
Spooky, what a GOOD boy you are. I would never allow my mommy that price;ege. I do a lot of struggling and enormous talking when Tiffany comes to do them.
XXXOOO
Spooky is a very good boy, I think he knows I am trying to help him. XOXOXO
My husband does the pedis and manis. I’m kind of squeamish about it.
That is good that he does that for you- mine is in charge of buying all the litter and bringing it into the house π
We get pedis and manis all the time because our mommy is so paranoid that we’ll scratch either other or even ourselves. She’s weird.
She is a good Mommy. My cats have gotten cuts by their ears when they scratch too hard.
We don’t like getting our claws clipped so we don’t want the mom to see these.
Sorry, I think she saw π
Your toesies look very pretty after this pedicure !
Joanie says thank you.
