Hi everyone! We are up to the letter P in The A-Z Blogging Challenge. Back in 2016, I wrote about Jeanne Foguth’s book, Vi-Purrs, the 3rd in the Sea Purrtector Files. To read about that, click here.
Today we have The Tenth Good Thing About Barney by Judith Viorst. It is a sweet children’s book to help children with pet loss.
Brody is posing with it, but it isn’t the best angle.
Hi everyone! We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop and The Pet Parade.
I used Lunapic to make my art from a photo of the hearts I put in our front window in support of everyone on the front lines.
There is a puzzle below.
We are also joining The Pet Photo Fails blog hop that Melissa and Mudpie host in memory of Roby Sweet.
This is a photo fail of Joanie in her bunny ears.
All of the hearts in the window look lovely for the front line workers, and thanks for the puzzle.
That is a funny photo fail of those bunny ears and a tiny bit of Joanie.
Thank you 🙂 XO
Momma read that Barney book when she was little. She cried so much since her kitty was buried in the backyard.
It is a sad book. XO
Hahaha… that was a bit of a photo fail! SomeBODY moved! Your art photo window is cool. I love the colors!
Thank you 🙂 XO

Thank you 🙂 XO
Your art is so cute! I’ve never heard of that book.
Thank you 🙂
LOVE your art and how you decorated the window to support first responders.
Thank you 🙂 XO
We’ve had to have many a pet funeral here. It’s never easy, but i can imagine Ms. Viorst would have an excellent way of explaining and helping children understand better.
Really liked that photo fail!
Same here, too many. XO
What a nice way to remember Roby Sweet. And Joanie’s photo made me grin. Oh, and I had to giggle when I saw your post start by announcing “We are up to the letter P…” ~grin~ Be well!
Thank you 🙂
I love that photo fail of Joanie’s; makes me laugh!
We don’t have any construction paper to put hearts in the windows; guess I could cut some out of plain paper though.
Thank you 🙂 Anything would work- wrapping paper 🙂
So sweet to make all the windows decorated for those who work in essential jobs…esp health care and first responders. We have our windows and doors all decorated too at my work place.
I make lots of bloopers with my pictures too…but…well I keep them to myself, MOL!
Will try your puzzle later…
Thank you. XO
What a sweet, or perhaps bittersweet, little read this book must be. I think helping children with the loss of a furry friend in the form of a book is a wonderful idea. And the hearts in your window are so cute, as are the kitties, of course!
Thank you. XO
V is for violets we have some tiny little white ones in the backyard as well as some yellow and purple one.
I’ve never seen yellow ones.
Such an important book. It is hard for children to understand loss, so every little bit helps. xo
Very true. XO
