Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! I am ashamed of myself for missing National Tabby Cat Day on Wednesday.

I am thankful for all my tabbies past and present.

My first cat ever,  KaChoo ( 1994-2010) was a tabby.

My other past tabbies KaTwo, Stinky and Prancie are all loved and missed.

And my current tabbies are all very loved.

And here is the photo I needed for my Z- Zed the Zombie from Disney’s Zombie movies.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. What beautiful tabbies you’ve had, Ellen! I also love the Tabby Cat Day picture you have! All I could manage today was to post my favorite picture of our Stripey on Facebook. XO

  2. Mama’s first kitty was a tabby, too. Fiat, found at the Fiat company in Santa Barbara and given to mama to take care of…a little orange striped kitty. Love those tabblies, but Tuxies are pretty cool too, non?

  3. You have and had beautiful tabbies!
Our Angle Minko, while technically a meezer had faint stripes on his tail and face…maybe somewhere there was a tabby in his heritage…I think that is actually called lynxpoint.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 My Dusty is a meezer too , I guess she is lynxpoint too. XO

  4. Tabbies are terrific!
Even our Celestial Chuck was a black-on-black tabby; we could see his stripes in certain light.
Neither of Da Boyz have this, but we keep checking their hot black fur whenever they lay in a sunpuddle…and, of course, they are WARM!

  5. Ellen ~ all your tabbies are so precious and adorable ~ great post ~ hugs,

Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

  6. I am thankful for all your Tabbies too. I feel lucky that you share with us. I am happy all your past and present tabbies have a forever home with you. They are all loved. All your tabbies are the sweetest.
I will have to google Zed the Zombie.

  7. Tabbies are such sweeties (as are all other kitties). Happy Nat’l Tabby day to yours.
Milky-Way was a Tabby and of course my nephew Kat is a tabbie
    Hugs Cecilia

  8. Tabbies are so beautiful, yours especially.

Zed, what an interesting name for a Zombie.

  9. Tabbies are the bestest! (And I am not just saying that because I, Marvelous am a tabby). We have the best purrsonalities as I am sure Bridgit and Dusty would tell you (Tee! Hee!!) Keep being AWESOME! Marvelous Marv

  10. Happy National Tabby Cat Day – belated! Your kitties really are beautiful. I had to look up why they’re called Tabby cats. Not at all what I thought. Striped silk? Does their fur feel like silk too? 🙂 I’m allergic to cats otherwise I would be the ultimate cat lady. – Much to be thankful for.

  11. Such precious tabbies. Happy belated National Tabby Day.
