Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful I have gotten to spend a lot of time with my family lately. The Boy’s 1st birthday party was this past Sunday and the girls had a half day of school on Halloween. Next week they have a half day and a day off so I will get lots more time with them.

The little cake was for him to stick his little hands all over.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

Uh-uh, no way,
not even for a lot of pay.
Not even if Nic Cage was waving hi,
although if a cat needed help, I would try.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. My November to -do list includes ______________________ and ______________________.
2. I was busy doing _________________________ 20 years ago.
3. _________ is a challenge I often face.
4. I’m proud to say that I overcame _________.
PS: You have until 9 PM ( EST) Thursday to take a guess at everyone’s costumes for a chance to win a $10 Amazon gift card. See Rosie’s post.

  1. Glad you’re getting lots of time to be with family, Ellen! Always worthwhile! Now that is one scary bridge! Sorta sad that anyone has to use it. XO

  2. Nice cake for the wee man!
I bet you will look forward to someday having that youngster join you and your crafting sessions. Might be a wee bit different than your great nieces, LOL!!! Still fun, though!

Nice to have extra time with the girls, soon. Creating memories they will have forever…and for you, too.
