Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful for getting to spend a lot of time with Typhoid Mary and The Great One this summer. Here are some of our latest arts and crafts projects.

Shrinky dink fairies
Angel ornaments
Crabs out of clam shells

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

Twin brothers sharing a big cake.
One is ready to blow, the other is barely awake.
Little sister is starting to bawl,
wondering why her cake is so small.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. First of all that’s a great “take” on the poetry photo this week! Good job for what really was a TOUGHIE. Secondly those projects with the “Dynamic Duo” girls look like TONS OF FUN!

  2. The girls are so fortunate to have you as their Aunt. Rosie knows that.
I just filled in the blanks. I took them away- and I’ll try again tomorrow when it’s time.

  3. I am so glad that you (and Joanie!) are getting to enjoy so much time with The Great One and Typhoid Mary! The crafts you do with them look so fun. Shrinky Dinks were a big thing when I was growing up in the ’90s, and it really brought back some memories seeing the adorable ones you and the girls created. And, as always, your poem is so fun!

  4. You little girls are so lucky to have such an amazingly creative auntie, who teaches you so many things every time you visit her. We love the Christmas ornaments and the fairies and personally mom I would like to know how to do those herself!

  5. I’m sure they love having fun with you too! That was a cute poem. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  6. Absolutely love your poem! This photo reminded me of so many photos of Tom and his brother and sister, but I still couldn’t come up with a good poem. Had no idea Shrinky Dinks still existed. Fun projects. I particularly like the crabs. Miss crafts at Scouts. That was always fun.
